Everything will stay like it was for you others who dont wanna spend any money. Just get it....thats how it works - invest something -> get something (in this case some time savings - which isnt a big deal i guess for most casual players). really, guys....its not a big deal

Your comment would be fine if it wasn't for certain people who have purchased a crap ton of standard stash tabs for hundreds of £$£$ and bought several supporter packs and spent them on standard tabs only to be shafted by this.

I don't think you have any idea how servers, or even the internet, works.

[Removed by Support] Wasted all your money on shiny armour instead of premium tabs? I know how servers work because I am an IT guy. Sounds like you haven't learned much in your basement of how things work.

IT guy? You sound more like teen. New trade system does not increase server load, if anything it reduces it. As far as I understand how it works - indexers can now request all public stash contents through APIs as well as changes to public stash tabs. With the old system Aquisition/Procurement loaded your tabs and updated forum thread, then crawler has to see your thread and update it after every bump & after some time. This means that first 3rd party tool loads all your tabs every X minutes, and 3rd party crawlers loads your forums every X minutes.
With new system stash tabs updates are done completely server side and indexer now only needs to request updates. If anything it's in GGG's best interes to enable it for all tabs, because it will greatly reduce server load and will allow indexers to safely remove forum crawlers and remove shop forums (selling/buying forums are still needed for few reasons).

I don't think you people realize, that old trade system will only work as long as indexers still work with forums. At some point I would guess they will drop support of it, because it's easier to support just API. Aquisition/Procurement have nothing to do with this API, all they do is load your stash, make and update forum thread for you. They do not make your stash tabs "public" so that it's visible to indexer.

Also it's kinda dumb to use tab name for price information. Instead there should be some meta information that's only accessible through API and shown in UI via different method (e.g. orb icon near tab/item name)

"First Wave of Trade Improvements"

First Wave of Trade Improvements.

FIRST WAVE of Trade Improvments.

It's quite literally in the thread title. Let's assume that the remainder of the trade improvements will not specifically involve the Premium Stash Tab features and are indeed for the entire playing population.

People are so quick to jump on the toxic bandwagon.

You believe that to defeat an enemy who will stop at nothing, you must stop at nothing. How is that different than "blood must have blood"?
Who needs a league announcement if we get this!
Looking forward to only use this feature and uninstall Acquisition.

/edit Why was the Premium Stash Tab sale two days before this I wonder?

Does it work with premium remove only tabs?

Yes

Hi Bex, were you informed of this decision?

I assume you weren't. Because as the competent community manager you are there should've been no way you didn't fight against this "trade improvement".

This announcement was poor and absolutely goes against everything GGG has done in the past.

The team alienates two large groups of players:

1. Existing players who have only purchased normal stash tab bundles.

2. New players with little understanding of "third party" tools.

I thought trade improvements are supposed to make the game EASIER for players? And not just the players who somehow could predict the future and purchased premium stash tabs before this godawful announcement?

And what exactly does GGG stand to gain from a PR or long term revenue perspective? This announcement upsets both your loyal customers AND make it more difficult for new players to get into the game. I'm certain many existing players would much rather this gated feature did not exist.

Throughout disappointment with this markedly stupid decision. I don't think I'm going to buy more things from GGG until this decision is looked at.
Love it!

I have plenty of Premium Tab's, but I agree with other's that at least one free premium tab would be nice, for player's who have none. It could also encourage the purchase of more tab's once people see how cool they are.
There is few important thing missing!
A proper search for specific item.
In case of overcrowding its nearly impossible to find out in which tab specific item by name is.
That is what i learned that "side tools" are gods gift for.

Second better thing is wide stash buyout for various things. Its the most popular.

There is also a search for specific stat on specific or all items.

It is ok for GGG to attempt to alleviate the need for use of third party tools but some functions will most probably never be available or possible to do in game.
This is good for newbs which will get easier "no brainer" thing to set shop. But for old dogs that is hardly enough.

Thanks for listening

P.S In game search still has funny problems when searching for things like "boot" "belt"
it doesnt understand that. And results in leather "belt" only.
