Feels like most uniq jewels aren't worth the time.

Trapper are more viable now but... what about mines?

Ima be honest the unstable payload jewel seems good but in reality it is underwhelming. The idea of your traps going off a second time is amazing but only 10% per jewel? To get a decent 50% chance to have this effect youd need 5 of these. To get 100% youd need 10. Why would anyone use up 5 let alone 10 sockets that could have 5 amazing stats on them for something that will only give you one really good stat? I mean im sure some people will do this and it may end up more damage in the end if you make the build efficiently enough but its still not as good as just filling up the same amount of jewel slots with decent rare jewels. Same with threshold jewels, 10% is just underwhelming. Change these types of things to 20% even 15% if you really want to push it for balance. At least then we can use like 3-4 of these jewels and it would be somewhat worth it rather than having to use 5-10. Decent jewels nonetheless tho.

Nice I guess. I always wanted the Trapper Build sometimes to feel more like a grenadier. (Simulated this back then with Fireball Traps)

" Seriously?! Miners have been shafted for so long that it must be easy to forget they exist. Required notable (Clever Construction) to function, ludicrous mana costs, melee range, and massive delayed action... the 30% more damage from Demolitions Specialist isn't nearly enough to bring them up to par. Trappers function now. Trappers will still function in Ascendancy and they're getting these toys (granted, not particularly useful, but at least something). Miners continue to be on the outside looking in. |
