i PM'ed OP about support's response, he sent me screenshots - seems GGG don't mind that this mod will be used, but it's strange that they didn't posted anything in this thread yet.

reshade ?
wtf whats reshade change the color of the original game? why would we even do this and why you want us to do this so bad |

Guys, reshade (and sweetfx) can be used across almost all games. I've used it in Skyrim, FF14, any game where I want to emphasize colors, aliasing, etc. It's totally 100% safe AND you guys shouldn't just look at those screenshots and claim it to be pointless.
Presets/settings vary from person to person; Perhaps you want the shadows in the game to be darker? You can do just that. Maybe you can use it to compensate for a old/dying monitor? There's a lot of possibilities here, none of which are malicious in nature. It's great software and shouldn't be judged so harshly because it's apparently alien to this community. You can't edit specific effects on spells, etc. Sure, GGG has a policy on editing files and using injectors - BUT you have to understand how wide spread Reshade is. I guarantee that there is a significant number of people that have been using Reshade for years here, myself included. |

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years. Best of luck in the future! |

" 1. Why you would do this can be answered by you alone 2. By creating this thread he enabled you to answer that question for yourself. As you allready did this i dont see why you felt motivated to make this post. 3. The author of this programm never made anyone do anything. Problem is he is offering something for the community he probably put some time in. Then this thread is being used for endless discussion about GGG'S policy. While it would surely be good to get a reply from GGG here i dont see why his replies to the discussion could be viewed in such a way. |
