Really?...
Well, where I can see that?
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?
I have an answer from Melissa_GGG.
Is it allowed by forum rules to post here email messages from support?
If so I can show, otherwise you can pm me.

It must be my eyesight, but the BEFORE pictures all look better to me.

What kind of performance cost do these enhancements have?

What file is being modified?

Hm. You've added a certain graininess that seems to immediately recall D2 for me. I'll give it a go based on the potential nostalgia alone, but I wouldn't say this is an objective improvement. Thanks for your hard work.

edit: it drops fps by about 10 in town, but in-game things seem smooth enough.

edit 2: spoke too soon. Drops from 60 to 40ish fairly constantly. Guess my old gt can't handle this. Oh well. :)

edit 3: add uninstall instructions for idiots please.

Does it look better, in your opinion?
I think the game looks WAY worse after installing the mod. The colors are much deeper originally. What exactly were you going for with this?
The first pics are really blurry, no AA, not even AF is there.

If people play on a TV, they can just adjust the sharpness of their tv at zero fps cost :)

If not, just switch on Anisotropic Filtering, at virtually no fps cost either.

That's all you need.

Nope. And it added significant loading time. And a fucking obnoxious textual overlay of whoever worked on it as the game loads and at the character selection screen.

I totally took one for the team here.

I want it gone.

You should just be able to delete the reshsde files. It is injecting into the Path of exile EXE file, though, so you might want to replace that with an original as well.

Also, why is there a blanket ban on modification of the PAK file for things like removing and toning down particle effects, but using an ENB injector on the game EXE file is okay? It seems like a really weird disconnect.

That is why I made my initial question. We are not allowed to modify files but this is a modification, so what's the idea?
If this is allowed then I guess I can use PoESmoother. My computer is crap and using PoESmoother would be a real help...
