Yes, non legacy lightning damage to spells should be enough combined with VP if you do enough damage.

Taste of hate is the only mitigation. You could swap in a Kiara's determination if really concerned.

Added lightning damage for the most DPS, Phys conversion for extra leech. I personally run both for diffrent situations. Swap in the phys conversion vinktar's for uber izaro, shaper and phys reflect maps.

I swap in Added lightning damage for general mapping, uber atziri and situations where I need the most DPS possible.

what is the literal minimum amount of mana to be able to spam BV with no hiccups? (have you ever attempted exact casting cost (86) + tons of regen? The unreserved mana amounts I'm looking at are either 125 or 142 with lvl9 clarity on, the mana pool can be lowered by raising the level of clarity higher for more regen, it just depends where the point you need to be at to never have a hiccup in casting.



I will have a proposed aura setup up and running today after figuring out these last bits, I've tried a bunch but this might be the one!

I do not need it for the content I run. The only time I ever take it is for lab running, but it's personal preference. I enjoy having the extra passive point personally, but there's no right answer. Do what you feel you personally need.

I think this boils down to personal preference, but for me It's duration.

Duration is slightly more valuable, not many ways to scale that. With the new shaper "Dying Sun" flask which we can easily work in for general mapping, we get a ton og AoE now. Making Duration IMO more desirable since we don't have an option to boost it, like we do with AoE now.

Plus duration is such a nice QoL when mapping.
