With the +1 Arrow on Hyrri's im able to use LMP instead of GMP on my LA.

I dont have any Problems with my Mana - but im not 6 linked yet so i have to see how it works if i got the full Build.

im curious about this because i don't know, it just isn't really looking very effective.

come ascendancy and the assassin tree im going to make a chin sol/point blank build but its going to be based upon herald of ash overkill damage. much like a build i had a long time ago, which worked amazingly, this new build with updates such as frenzy charges giving more damage etc etc, the damage is scaled OUT OF THIS WORLD.

its essentially the same effect, but uses herald of ash and proliferation. pyre cannot be used because of prolif, but the damage is WAAAAY higher because of how Herald of Ash scales. the mechanics are the same, shooting trash mobs near bosses and having the prolif burn the boss down.


however the nerf to proliferation really hurts this build because the aoe potential is significantly lowered, but i THINK it can still work. that has yet to be determined. if it doesn't, then this would have been my second option but im really not liking the look of this, to be honest. the damage just seems extremely lackluster in comparison.

to compare, herald of ash has 137% overkill damage as burn effect. however this scales like crit multi. say 137+69% from inc burning gem = 231% overkill damage. so you can see, the 69% actually gives a bonus of 94%.
not only that, but herald of ash scales with +damage, +dot damage, +area damage, +burning damage, +fire damage AND +elemental damage. my proposed tree and gear will give me a boost of 683% to all of HoA modifiers, making my total overkill burn damage 1,073%.

with chin sol, point blank, burning arrow and crit on a 6L setup, i assume i'll have approx a 40,000 damage hit (maximum) before crit. at 400% crit multi that equates to 160k damage. now factor in chin sol/point blank and that equates to 400k damage hit. say the overkill damage on that is 395,000 (most likely be more unless hitting a boss directly). this means your overkill burn damage is 4.24 million.
now factor in a 6L herald of ash including concentrated effect and 9 frenzy charges (36% more damage). we can also negate the proliferation less damage and in total we have +74% damage from the 4.24 million, so a total 7,377,600 damage.

i've already done this build, as i said before, and it had a total of approx 1.5 million dps back then on a 4L setup. this will be absolutely incredible.

i could potentially hit 10 million DPS depending how i do my gear and depending how much damage my flasks will add. its really difficult to calculate.
with double ming's, VofV, ToH and atziri promise, its possible for me to hit i'd say upwards of 60,000 damage in one hit. this equals almost 11.2 million dps.
Question

If we put 3 Points towards Iron Reflex and the other 2 points towards Cloth and Chain,will it boost our survivability a little bit comparing putting 5 points towards Phase Acrobatics?

(Which means getting rid of Phase Acrobatics and replacing it with Iron Reflex and Cloth and Chain)

I think deadeye is the best option....

Far Shot - Endless munition - Powerful Precision
I'm playing this build in Perandus (The second time I've played it, I did it once as a Shadow back in Torment)

I decided going with Deadeye (Far Shot - Endless munition - Powerful Precision).

Although I did consider playing the Shadow again. Going with Assassin and using power charges to pull up the base critical of Chin Sol was tempting. (Although not as important now that Chin Sol is an Assassin Bow - The last time I played the build it used the 5% crit Imperial Bow)

Edit - Since I mentioned it I noticed that the main post still references Chin Sol as having a 5% crit chance when it now has a 6.5% crit chance.

im kind of rolling a version of this build as a witch, elementalist. grab up Leige of the Primordial for +80% inc fire dmg, and Shaper of Desolution for 100% ignite change when elemental conflux is up, and Pendulum of Destruction for 100% inc elemental dmg.

im basically thinking of running a non crit full fire damage/fire pen/flammability type of build. problem with ignite is you need ignite chance, which you can get away with from crits but to roll chin sol crit you might as well go assassin that way its much more efficient. elemental conflux is the next way to overcome ignite chance. it should be really good.

next thing, though im unsure what happens in this case, is the new elemental gem. it gives you MORE elemental damage but also makes it so you can't ignite things. i don't know how this works with elemental conflux and what takes priority. hopefully conflux, can then you can have more elemental damage too.
