[2.6] TankyTwirl - PhysSpell CoC Cyclone
I noticed that most of the high-end daggers here have an added lightning damage mod on them. Is it required that the added damage be lightning, or does cold damage work too? The reason I'm asking is because I'm considering playing this build until I have enough to buy a Voll's Devotion for Discharge, and then possibly switching over. I'd rather not spend another 2 Exalts just to multimod a dagger with the only difference being the added cold damage to spells.

" That is a ridiculously good ring, gz man! Fortune favours the brave. Good on you for even picking up and ID'ing a blue diamond ring (who does that?). Last edited by mrpetrov#7089 on Jun 25, 2016, 2:28:56 PM

@Trovatour
Said it some posts ago, the type damage does not matter at all, you dont need it at all. Look at the Uber Kill Gear from Perandus linked in the OP. THat Dagger wasn´t even multi modded when i killed Uber Deathless with it.. so ye, its pure luxury to multi mod the dagger. For that switch to Discharge thing you may want to read this posting @mrpetrov Huh? You let ilvl 84 Diamond Rings rot on the ground? plz pick them up and give them to me... idk who would not pick up any rarirty of ilvl 84 Diamond Rings...O.o Current Builds: All in one Thread until i make new Guides poeurl.com/c4vT Last edited by ZweihundertMorder#5678 on Jun 25, 2016, 2:54:57 PM

" Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I was under the impression that Discharge was a lot better but definitely having second thoughts after reading that post. I guess with the money I would be better off boosting this build. Thanks!! |

" Yep i really like that post, its jsut what i think, i am just hesitant to brag that way in the OP as i dislike seeing it in to many other buildguides. So ye, even calculated DPS is about the same, factoring in EE for Discharge. If you then consider that our damage is mostly Phys and Discharge is Ele that has to deal with resists especially on bosses... you get the picture. On top of that i think that this build is alot better on a low budget, damage of Discharge without Volls and 6L really isn´t that great. Btw: I 100% know what i am talking about i played a Uber capable CoC Discharger following Matrix Factors More Rain Guide before i made this build. Can find Videos of it on my Youtube if you´d like to see both builds by the same player. I have a question, for prophecy, is this build still correct to follow?
This build seems really interesting to build until I notice that your build follows the perandus league. I'm playing prophecy so I'm unsure that it be alright to follow through. Also is simple robe an alright substitute for the armor? I would probably buy the armor and follow it through but the free 6 slots early on seems great to farm. Thanks! |

The Title says 2.3, Prophecy is 2.3.
This build started in Talisman League and only got stronger since then, so yes its save to follow this guide as it is. I´ll update tha Part with "current Perandus Gear" i guess that is what confused you? A Tabula can get you to lvl 60 something but imho you dont need it early on in the game, 4L Bladevortex or later Bladefall are perfectly fine for leveling. At the point where you switch to CoC you will find yourself needing resists and Life/ES on your ger and so a cheap rare 5L might be the better option. Hey guys,
ive played in the last week snooze quake, pretty strong build tho, but way to boring after a while. No flaskmanagement etc etc. Before EQ i tried CoC Discharge and failed pretty hard :D dunno, without volls ammy discharge is pretty weak imo. Got like 16ex right now and want respec my discharger into phys CoC. With that kinda budget i should be able to clear uber? Got this so far for around 40c, pretty cheap :D Hardest thing for me is the chest. Like mentioned in the Guide we'll need a hybrid chest for the colors. How much ES is "needed" there? And would u go for double res on chest? saw one on poe trade for 1,8ex with 450 ES and 35% fire es + open slot for another res, worth it? The rest of the gear is pretty much shopping for res and ES. Whats ur total ES guys? coz we dont get that much ES from the tree Greets, JX |

@Joern1991
If you want to do Uber there are some things to know. This build isn´t brainless faceroll on Uber and it takes some knowledge of the fight and decent part mechanical skill to do it. Lvl 21 Spells do help alot and are imho one of the things i would try to get before going into Uber. (They are not that expensive this league) For the Chest, look at my linked Example Gearsets in the FAQ, one of them is also the Set i killed uber with in Perandus so that should be a good guideline. I´d say a decent Chest starts with 400ES, good ones are 450-500 and 500-600 is amazing. Its also a nice bonus if it has also high evasion, with Vertex + Trickster we get a really good ammount of Evasion so stacking more on the chest is nice. I mostly don´t care for Res on the Chest, its nice if it has Res but EV+ES are alot more important so i tend to get my resists in other Slots. We also get 181%ES, 46% ES from INT and 270 Flat ES from the Tree + Ascendancy. With decent gear you get 8-10k ES with options to go higher with gear upgrades. (%ES Elreon Mod, GG Chest and stuff like that) Imho Uber needs 9-10k ES, more is allways better ofc. Current Builds:
