" Could be, but somehow I seriously doubt it that they'll allow specific strong "build enabling" modes in talismans like; Charges manipulations, Cannot be evaded, Cannot be stunned, etc. I suspect they'll just have normal affixes, IMHO, just bigger in value. |

" This is my fear as well. I really hope that getting a chance to fight him isn't going to take an incredible amount of time or else I'll be breaking in anticipation for the Ascendency real quick.. Grinding a whole new league just for some amulets that I'll never use once the league is over is pretty underwhelming, but grinding a new league to fight a new boss can be cool. " All of these mods ARE build enabling. If I can make a "cannot be stunned" build without spending 20+ passive points to reach Unwavering Stance, then it IS incredibly powerful, thus "build enabling" mode. Same works for "attacks cannot be evaded" and all those insane Charges manipulation modes/mechanics which exist on Romira's, Voll's, etc. It doesn't really matter where the mod is as long as it on the gear. Now, since I need to use Voll's or Eye of Chayula for certain builds (and NOT talismans - however they are presented as powerful), I'm kind of wondering what is the whole long-term idea of the Talisman introduction - to kill bunch of builds? |

Sounds really interesting, but because of all the question that are asked in this thread, I would suggest the following:
1.) Add the tier level in the item description. Tier 4 is easy to notice and the other tiers could be remembered by implicits or names, but please just write down the tier level in the desription just like map tiers. 2.) Something especially important for newer players, who are not reading your official side, some wikis or want to ask around in the global chat. Add something to the game where you explain those league modifier mechanics. It would be really important for talisman because i think it is the most complex modifier so far, but i also would wish if you would add the modifiers of older leagues. F.e. what does a specific bloodline or nemesis mod means, how does beyond works. The more complex ones are allways the original hardcore modes, so most hc player knows to inform themselfs, but even for the SC modes those informations would be nice. I played poe since ambush, and so I know how to inform myself, and I think after reading your post I understand the mechanic of talisman mostly. But I alos ask myself, how should a new player get all of this? |
