Shadow
Stalker - Dagger/claw damage, evasion/energy shield

Marauder
Brawler - Dual wield damage, frenzy charge generation
Ravager - 2 hand damage/defense. 2H block chance.

Witch
Occultist - Chance to echo a spell (except movement skills), power charge generation
Soothsayer - Extra curse, increased effect of curses, increased cast speed

Ranger
Artifice - Chance to dodge, evasion bonuses, endurance charge bonuses

Templar
Vanquisher - increased damage and chance to stun undead and demons, melee damage bonuses
Obelisk - additional totem, totem damage/survivability, shield block

Scion
Prodigy - A single ascendancy class with more branches than any other class. Has 6 starting points, relating to each of the other classes. Each of these starting points splits off into a defensive route and an offensive route for a total of 12 possible paths to take.

It's all good, duplicate submissions show which class names are the most popular in the community, and we've had some pretty unusual ones so far. I'll be doing a little statistic afterwards and we'll probably have a dynamic leaderboard if they start releasing classes one by one.

Good work so far, people, keep it up.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Really digging some of these suggestions btw, some stuff i never would have thought about.

I like the "stalker" submission for shadow a lot :D

Talk about role-playing <.<

Peace,

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Okay, I'll give this a shot.

WITCH
Sovereign - Focusing on Energy Shield and projectiles, themed similar to the "archmage" or "good witch" concept but allowing possible bow use as well
Heretic - Focusing on curses and Area of Effect mechanics (to include at least one mechanic which makes both important simultaneously somehow), with a theme of corruption (so themed like Necromancer but without the minions or corpses)

SHADOW
Mercenary - Focusing on self-sustainment and "selfish" mechanics; one node applies a bonus to auras which also prevents your auras from benefiting allies

RANGER
Survivalist - Not sure what the main focus would be, but I'd expect some nodes dealing with flask mechanics

MARAUDER
Brute - "Hulk smash" themed, with significant love for stun throughout. Very offense-themed to contrast nicely with Marauder's usual defensive nature.
Shaman - The Totem ascendancy class. Also pretty viable for non-totem caster Marauders.

TEMPLAR
Zealot - Militaristic theme with good melee and shield options; also, at least one potent option for Righteous Fire.
Ascetic - an Ascendancy class which makes the "monk" archetype more viable in PoE. Love for unarmed strikes and staves.

SCION
Heir - six jewel sockets. The simplest of all Ascendancy classes by far.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

I'll just post some for fun.

Witch
Fire Goddess - Specializes in fire.
Barrier Maiden - Specializes in ES. Maybe a free Discipline like skill that does not stack with Discipline.

Shadow
Silencer - Damage over Time focus.

Ranger
Coward - Speed focus.

Marauder
Battle Maniac - large bonuses to offense and defense at the cost of sometimes being uncontrollable.

Templar
Anti-Paladin - Focuses on Chaos damage.

Scion
Ascendant - Focuses on unarmed combat.
SHADOW
- Nightstalker: Claws/Daggers, Camouflaged Predator type effect, lucky damage rolls

RANGER
- Scout: Traps/mines, elemental/projectile damage, dodge/evasion rating, movement speed, flask bonuses

MARAUDER
- Barbarian: 1H/2H weapons, life regen/leech, low life bonuses, reduced crit damage taken, onslaught or frenzy charge on kill or when hit, crit chance/multi, increased AoE, stun

TEMPLAR
- Crusader: 1H weapons/Shields, ele/phys damage, block, crit chance/mutli,
- Paladin: 2H weapons/Staves, block, mana/life regen, light radius, aura bonuses

WITCH
- Sorceress: spell/ele damage, energy shield, +1 power charge, mana/mana regen

MARAUDER
Barbarian - Excels with two-handed weapon, extra life bonuses and an Endurance Charge.

WITCH
Elementalist - Has extra bonuses with Crits and all elemental spells. Can have an active Elemental Proliferation on all spells cast and an extra Power Charge.
Battle Mage or War Wizard - Hybrid fighter/spellcaster with good survivability tools related to extra Energy Shield, superior melee range and spell block.

RANGER
Hunter - Has high physical damage, some traps/mines and pets bonuses.

TEMPLAR
Cleric - Primarily an elemental spellcaster. All spells cast heal the Cleric and allies near her for a small amount. Has bonus Area of Effect.
Paladin - Holy warrior who focus on weapon and shield. Has high elemental and chaos resistances.

Seems we got some mild visual spoilers in the latest news post but fortunately nothing too specific, anyone else wants to try their luck?
