I would also like to know what the OP thinks about this change. It seems it makes you tankier, but that might be deceptive since you are losing your life leech and bleed immunity. ( Bleed sucks!)

So has anyone done uber izaro or uber atiri with this build with out the legacy items? Is it possible to do it in the new leagues?

Also should i keep this or try a new enchant?

Haven't played since about when the Masters showed up, decided to use this build for my comeback into breach league. Having issues dealing with merciless moon temple and am stuck at about lvl 67.
What gear should I focus on upgrading first?
Spoiler

Been working on farming up the Chaos to buy Abyssus, but it's way up there and I'm considering buying a tabula rasa first.
rings and amulet does not have add physical damage and this helps a ton with damage.

also shield till mid maps you can use Deep one's
I've been traveling so I wasn't able to respond for a bit. I will take a stab at answering all these questions. Text wall incoming!

First though, I must say...

***Please take a moment to read the OP before asking questions/pming me. I put a lot of work into the guide. Thank you.***

Most importantly: The build is completely 100% viable on non-legacy facebreakers. I will record a t15 with non-legacy, and you will probably not notice a difference in dps. I have over 1 million fully buffed cyclone dps with non-legacy. You still get 80-85% the damage of the legacy version, which is more than enough for all content in game if your build is min-max with gear/gems/jewels/proper passives. It works early on with cheap gear, and just scales really well as you incrementally upgrade if you follow the guide.

I also just updated the OP with a "League Strategy" section. I am hoping that this will help players to build a first farming character quickly and efficiently.

Thanks for the tips, I got some new facebreakers, but steel rings at the moment are ridiculously expensive.

Only problem I have atm is when I use cyclone i just run out of mana, was doing izaro with it to try get a cleaner kill and yeah had to spend half the time running around. Not sure if i need another leech jewel or something. Luckily thats not too important now, planning on just shield charging my way through the atlas.

IMO I would use shield charge anyway as a leveling/map farming build. It's just way way faster. If you feel like you are mostly done leveling, you can just swap to cyclone to farm bosses with a bit more ease.

If you want to use cyclone, you only need the 1 leech mod on a jewel as long as you make the changes in tree that I have in OP between the two builds. The extra mana rege/bigger mana pool/reduced mana cost makes it work on the 1 mana leech jewel. This lets you turn the build into an insane boss killer, but does require a little more mana support in tree.

On act 2 cruel, is 8% atk speed that much better than 16% physical dmg from oak? I'm on HC

Good question. In my opinion, both the 8% speed and 16 % phys damage are viable... but the speed is a bit more efficient. This is because the speed actively increases your CLEAR speed in addition to dps with the shield charge build (what I am playing, because of how fast it is for leveling). That said, both are fine and I wouldn't change it unless you have 20 regret you don't need.

Hey how easy is to start the league with this char? Ive always played hc reached lvl 90 but there is no point on playing HC anymore since its very hard to explore the new content (breaches bosses shaper etc) with out amazing gear, so im planning to playing this as my first Breach SC char. Would it be easy to play with 0 currency?

It's an extremely easy build to start league with. You just start off as regular melee and buy upgrades in this order as you get bits of currency: meginords > low roll facebreaker > cheap phys dmg rings and ammy > deep ones hide shield > tabula. To get an idea of what farm speed looks like with cheap gear, look at the 240m/minute lvl 69 video I have from last league in OP. It's reliable, fast, and cheap.

It would be way, way worse in my opinion. Champion is not actually "tankier", as you are losing perma leech, stun immune, and bleed immune from slayer. As soon as you hit a few things, slayer build is regenerating 38% of your life total a second from perma leech... champion is not going to give you this sort of resilience. Also, losing slayer is less dps (20% "more" and onslaught lost), and less aoe. It's not worth it imo.

Any thoughts on Voidheart?

Voidheart a great ring. I haven't fully tested it, but I think it could be pretty solid. With the current tree, I am not sure that it would outperform a really good steel ring with t1 phys. That said, I think if you optimized around it with some double dipping, it would be very good.

I am planning on making a separate cyclone facebreaker build with voidheart and 75/75 block to try something new. :D

this build ONLY works if u have 950+ facebreakers..... disapointing...
I have all the items from the build and jewels and i have 130k cyclone
Shield charge dps is only 9k

so dont even bother ( or maybe go buy facebreakers for 300 ex)

Disapointed

Just no, this isn't correct.

I have over 1 million cyclone damage with all buffs up with 798% facebreaker. You say you have "all the items from the build", but if those are your buffed dps stats, you are doing something very wrong. I responded to your PM and tried to help by looking at your gear/tree, but your profile is hidden.

I hope the damage doesn't fall off later, but atm clearing up to t11 maps (based on my map pool) its really fast, earning sweet exp. Atleast its a good map farmer if not boss farmer.

It really doesn't fall off... Once you have t1 physical rolls on all your rares, 20/20 gems, and 3+ mod jewels, it's enough for all the content in game. That said, cyclone is the better bosskiller for farming guardians/shaper, since it is just so much more dps than SC.

Last league I was clearing t15 maps in 2-2.5 minutes with SC, still 1-shotting packs same as the video in OP.

Hey! atm im level 75 and really enjoying the build, but i still feel too weak (4k hp only), im still using a tabula and i was wondering what should a save for, maybee a 6l?

You will be gaining a ton of life from tree as you level from here on out. In terms of the order of your upgrades... really it's whatever you can find the best deal on since there is a lot of low hanging fruit. As you stack armour things will feel a lot better too.

I'd probably go:
-cheapish starter rare 6L with some res to loosen res reqs on other rares
-replace shield for higher armour + life, and sneak in whatever res and/or block you can
-replace miracle loop ring for rare ring with t1 phys and more useful base
-get new boots with 30 move (this is really important for clear speed)
-replace neck with t1 phys + life
-if you haven't gotten them yet, jewels with 3+ good mods

This build looks very interesting. I have only one concern. You are using legacy facebreakers so your damage output is a lot higher as it is possible in new leagues.

Can you test how high your unbuffed tooltip dps with normal facebreakers is in comparison to legacy ones and post your results?

Would really appreciate it.

As stated in the OP, there's no reason to be concerned. The build works great without legacy FB. Last league with full buff I was getting 80k/hit sc and around 1 million cyclone dps. I still have those FB I think, I can take some more screens if you want.

im also intrested how it is in 2.5 breach maps with legacy facebrraker.
currently im playing as maurader flame totem build.
its nice and safe and cheap in ubers, but its slow as fuck in maps......

I am not playing breach due to time constraints, so can't say too much. The build is really fast and has good dps, so it should be effective with the new mechanics. You'll have great uber lab times with this setup, I farmed it quite a bit last league... very consistent and speedy once you have gear/levels.

I am currently playing this build with success up to tier 12 map. Could someone please tell me how to do more dps with either Vulnebarity with blasphemy or hatred?

I am actually trying to see if im able to run hatred + ash + blasphemy-vulnerability(using of course an essence worm ring)

you lose a bit because of ring physical damage but you get it back with vulnerability debuff (that affect both the physical damage and ignite dot)

need to see actually if i am able to fit everything else (resists) in with only body armour, shield, 1 ring and amulet :D

IMO vulnerability is only worth it for us if you are rich and can get it as corruption on FB, so it doesn't replace another aura. This is because hatred is always viable, while vuln has a whopping 60% less effectiveness vs boss... which means lvl 20 vuln is only 13% more damage (which is less than what you get from a steel/t1 phys ring). It also does nothing on no curse modded maps. You 1 shot packs without vuln on t15 once you're geared already, so boss damage feels more important to me. That said, vuln aura might be better than hatred on a bleed/poison variant of this build.

You can definitely work it in in other ways, but you miss out on other things that feel important to me. I think trading all the stats on a steel ring for essence worm is really bad, since you can get 3-14 on a base, and up to 11-17 from deafening mod. On top of that if you get a pricey one you can have life/res/atts as well.

Before they reduced aura effectiveness on bosses, I actually ran hatred + ash + vulnerability aura. I used 2x enlighten... it worked really well but took up 6 links. This meant you had to drop either the cwdt links or warchief, both of which hurt to lose. The alternative is spending a bunch of points in tree, and imo that's not efficient since the damage/life lost there is not that well counterbalanced by the addition of vuln.

You're right on the money. While the damage buffs of slayer are good, what really makes it amazing is the stun immune, bleed immune, and 38% regen a sec from the leech. For this build it is much tankier than champion in my opinion.

Uber izaro is extremely easy with this build when geared. You just drop totem on him, pop your flasks, and go HAM. He goes down really quickly. You don't lose as much as you might be thinking without legacy fb. I can record an uber lab if you like.

If you are level 80+ and geared, I'd farm uber lab for a higher tier enchant. If you are using cyclone, you might want to just use that and buy another base abyssus to roll at uber when you get currency. If you are playing SC you could try to sell that for more than the base is worth if you think cyclone is meta enough for it to go quickly.

Thanks for taking the time to reply back OP!

I just wanted to follow up and say that I just hit lvl 28 this morning and I am absolutely destroying content so far! Having your movespeed skill also be your main dps skill is game changing.

I would hop on poe.trade and look for some good deals on phys damage rings / ammys with as much resists as possible. Follow suite on your shield & boots to get the best armor / resist / +life you can find. Movement speed on boots would be nice, but not necessary really since you will be mainly using shield charge to move around anyways. You will be amazed at how much you can improve all of your gear by snatching up some deals on poe.trade!

thank you for this build!
one of the most crazy speed farming build i have played so far:D
Wow thank you for answering all the questions man! BTW if u need some HC stuff just pm me i rippd at lvl 85 or so within the first days and im playing Breach now so i could give you some items/currency i wont use!
Thanks for all the Q&A demopolos.

Will try this build.

One last question: What do you think about the new Unique Shield "The Surrender". We have 75 % block and the 250 life per block seems to be a crazy defensive buff.

We would loose a bit dps yes but this build seems to provide a lot of dps already. So for the real rippy content this shield seems to be a good option to have it on swap.

Just my thoughts.

Edit: Okay we have only 43% block chance my mistake so nvm

hey this build is really awesome, i have overleveled due to some very lucky finds, and kind friends, but am very new to the game. I have a hard time grasping map progression, and what i should be doing.

at OP, i was wondering if you can take a look at my character and see the biggest change I can do to help me push content faster.

I also want to stay a Shield Charge and ancestral only, and I was wondering if I can do that comfortably for end game boses.
