Item Development - Threshold Jewels

I hope the one they make for sweep is something along the line of making it repeat the skill, but with much larger aoe radius and reverse knockback.

Air Flare

Sweep skill attacks 20% faster and repeats the skill if 50 strength is allocated in the radius. Actually, it attacks so fast that you become a helicopter and fly away.

i love that skill . please tell more :D

oh by the way.
do those gems work with the vaal-version of gems as well ?

greetings !
Absolutely the right way to go, I've been meaning to make a feedback post (its getting too long now and not many appreciate walls of texts) that gathers other popular feedback as well as some of my own, and one idea/suggestion was to make jewels expand on skill mechanics.
It is the epitome of POE - customisation. There is huge potential with very few drawbacks (even a large number of jewels won't overwhelm new players as they find them one at a time and need to trade for a specific one). The only drawback I see, and obviously GGG are aware of from their post, is how to find the right balance between desirable and no brainer/op.
I think the best strategy is what they are attempting to do, niche mechanic changes that alter the way the skill works, maybe even revitalising a skill that suffers from natural late game weaknesses (ex: fireball). Simply cool stuff :)
This is amazing! I've been having loads of idea's in mind focused on modifying a specific gem, throught he use of special support gems, or unique items. I'm really psyched to see this is coming to the game!

Now all I need is a jewel that allows Incinerate to Shotgun again :D
(come on guys, I need to revive this guide!)
I am a nice guy.

A lot of new stuff coming that makes sense, seriously impressive!

Weight of the Empire; doesn't really change the mechanics behind Heavy Strike, was a double-hit chance ever sought after instead of double-dmg? It would make things a bit more interesting gameplay wise.

Pitch Darkness; tar is OP, though, forcing another fire DoT mechanic into an already burning build lock, isn't making the Burning Arrow meta a tad numb? Seems like, it'd instead benefit as a whole, by improving its own gameplay vs great packs of mobs - either from AoE Radius/Projectile quantity or even an ability to Chain/explode.

Ty 4 the development post.

me like this very much
How about tendrils??
I really like the idea with new jewels which modifies skills in new ways. On the other side I don't want skills which no one will use without some of these jewels!

I have to agree on "quality over quantity" subject. Path of Exile is great game, but I would love to see some improvements to older content. Give us for example 1 new animation or improve entrance placeholders!

I am not playing game right now. Not because I was bored. It's because I am expecting many new changes so basically I don't know what to play.

Thanks!
