Should I accept the VP offer?

If you want more visibility - sure. Some people actually dislike special attention, so it might not be the thing for you though. And, as stormy said, it's bound to attract some negativity although I suppose things will settle down and return to normal soon enough. Grats anyway.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Lol.

In the absence of Bambi, another has risen to gleefully bait the surprisingly gullible.

Seriously, do you people ever look at post history?

Errr.... no?

Yeah, I declined.

now I do indeed, and I also use fabricated words daily. Something of a special talent of mine, as it isn't even a word, but still conveyed my point clearly.

Good neologisms frequently enter the language and become fully-fledged words. Lewis Carroll (of the "Alice" books) gave us "chortle," for example, a perfectly conceived onomatopoeia contrived from "chuckle" and "snort."

Keep it up; you never know what might stick around long enough to get adopted to mainstream use. =^[.]^=

According to the Oxford Dictionary it's a real word.

"Mid 19th cent.; earliest use found in The Examiner. From opinion + -less."

I would echo the sentiment expressed that when someone who doesn't know much about the game reads an on-topic post by a VP, they should be able to surmise that the poster knows the game well and usually posts trustworthy information.

Oh, I never disputed the word "opinionless;" I am merely a fan of language as a growing, evolving form of communication. =^[.]^=

This is mostly just drunken nonsense, but if VP status could be traded like liquor liscenses I bet many interesting things would happen. That or some jackass would buy them all and sit on them.
HAIL SATAN!
I vote for BMBI'ed to replace 'bookmarked'
Hey...is this thing on?
Me being offline or rarely ever active in the forum will hurt me from being VP. I do not think that will change since I am very busy with real life nowadays.

Never caused trouble, help out other players when the right topic comes up because I wish I knew everything, having experienced being a forum mod in another forum gave me the opportunity to be a forum/in-game volunteer moderator for PoE back in the days. Can still be applied, but just the lack of forum activity hits the spot.

So far, I am seeing some familiar faces getting VP, and they deserve it. :)
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Gz Ray, I see Alysma and Drakier have been added to the ranks as well. My personal feelings about the system aside, there are some damn good members of the community getting the nod.

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years.

Best of luck in the future!

Thanks, Nait! That PM came right outta left field. Now I have to pretend that I make a positive contribution around here. =^[.]~=

Don't let it change your posting style (even the sometimes 'on the nose' rejoinders), that's the worst possible side effect :)
