I'm actually not into bestowing any sort of abstract academic authority on someone. Maybe it's my field... mathematics. There are no "authorities" in mathematics. Every argument stand on it's own merit regardless as to who agrees with it or not, and it certainly doesn't depend on the name of the person who created the idea.

But in the real world, you have to give in to authority at some point. Society would fall apart otherwise.

This explains, so, so much.

That's how I see it also.

Many of the people the Redditers mention as people they'd not want to see as VP's, are the people I'd absolutely vote in. (And vice versa) :D

Personally, I couldn't care less about the prospective VPs, as they hold no interest or meaning for me. However, electing people defined on certain lists will do nothing but further divide the communities, which is something I thought Chris wanted to avoid. To be honest, I think that boat has already sailed...

At a guess I'd say Charan's off his meds again. As for the other, it seems to be some pseudo-intellectual nonsense.

I'm afraid that that's how Charan and I are. I don't tend to use colors and I do admit that red is a bad choice for color sensitive people...

Thanks!

Sometimes, like a rolling stone the world moves backwards, sometimes in circles and in some cases it spins in the same spot.

Forever rolling to a point in every direction is the same as rolling to no point at all.

That's about the limit of my intellect .... especially regarding stones.
