A lot of the current char build makers are busy playing on the Talisman league so their builds are not being regularly attended to. Most everyone feels that with Ascendancy so close, it's not really worth doing anything new until the update hits us anyway. |

didn't realise that topic starter got himself banned, oh well, but we need someone who knows this build inside and out to carry on with it. Small update to my own progress, I refunded some nodes after acrobatics and grabbed the health nodes a bit farther down. this now gives me 4.1k of health. (and got some new gloves and an amulet with some health on them. now my DPS is 41k (with auras and the golem active) still not got a 6 link staff yet, but I live in hope. oh yes, I recently found out about a third party site that calculates the number of chromos to get the right socket colours, Vorici Chromatic Calculator it;s called, and was pretty spot on when it said it would take 120 to change my carcass jack colours to RRBBB. Which I have now down. I can now move around like a jack rabbit on stims! I have also reverted back to using concentrated effect gem instead of increased AOE (but still levelling that in my alt weapon setup) I find CE to be a lot more powerful and harder hitting, as I can now move a lot faster, the shorter AOE isn't too bad. I still can die a few times if I'm not careful. but I also fixed my resist issue and got max resist for cold and fire and 70 for lightning. (I just can't get it any higher without paying a huge amount and reshuffle all my gear. I can deal with a few more bosses then I previously could. so my dps can raise to about 90k now, 7 powerchages, innervate and the chaos flask and the golem. otherwise, its about 64 to 68 with power charges, (aprrox and when I try and hover my cursor over the ice nova icon. my gems aren't fully levelled yet, faster casting level 16 (20 quality) and the other gems are level 19 (and with 20 quality). so still a bit to go before I fully level them. I think 100k will be in reach when I do. still have 3 crit nodes to do, and other damage nodes. overall. this build is really starting to shape up, still a bit on the squishy side. but it does hit like a train! |

what would be the better choice for the ascendancy path?
I like the Elementalist, but the occultist buffs also the Crit. Chance and the Curses, so i dont know |
