[3.2]Blink & Mirror Arrow Necromancer * Shaper down * Build of the Week * Deadeye version added*
Sry if this was asked already, ( big thread ) , but have you tried Voidfletcher for this build ?
It has the pierce and nice cold damage. Theorycrafting a deadeye version of this and would like to see why people use drillneck over voidfletchers seemingly great dmg boost. edit: I guess its because you use EE , dont want to give your clones ice dmg Last edited by miraclechipmunk#3780 on May 1, 2018, 3:55:21 AM

It looks like with 3.3, the trap version of this build is dead. The new trap/cooldown interaction means you're only able to get one "cooldown" (i.e., one minion) every 3 seconds, even with the Cluster Trap support.
Sad to see such a unique fringe build go away, but at least the core build is still intact, it seems. |

What do you think about using the new belt with 130% increased duration with this build?

" I played both and am really sad to see this happen. The trap version had much, much better quality of life and ~5x the DPS when I tried it. It's a shame that the trap "buffs" completely killed the only trap build I enjoyed. Last edited by Nuraihyon#1395 on Jun 3, 2018, 9:00:32 PM

At what level should i switch from srs to using clones?
|

The description is wrong in some aspects. The mirror build is great in this patch as in many patches before.
first: attack speed nodes affect your clones second: projectile damage nodes affect not only flat physical damage but any elemental damage from auras and flat elemental damage from gems and modifiers on gear. So your main priority should be to get as much attack speed and projectile damage as possible. third: critical strike chance nodes affect your clones but attack speed is more productive than crit If we summarize everything above, evasion/life based build will be more obvious |

hmm, if so...
can you post your skill tree? I am playing with build, deadeye version, you can check my character. What chest you can suggest? I think about loreveawe, but idk... maybe Yriel? " at level 65, when you buy Lioneye's glare " it's only 45% ((( Last edited by Fimas222#1902 on Jun 17, 2018, 3:22:55 PM

Level 76 build

You can switch immediately when you get +90% skill effect duration and some bow with 12+ attack speed and combined elemental damage (around 44 lv) And I think that Lioneye's glare is not the best bow for this build, something with +attack speed and combined elemental 350+ dps should give you much more damage than Lioneye's glare. |

Hm... What are your thoughts about belts with "increased aura effect" from anger or wrath?
|
|
I tried to test what amount of damage you can add with different modifiers
What I can say clearly: an effect from the minion damage support is not shown in skill description and minion damage nodes do not affect skill damage description, so I cannot say where in the formula is this modifier. I have 17lv anger aura which gives 67-111 clear damage according to the description, but when I enable it the additional damage is 99-164, the base damage is multiplied on 1.477 through the description on blink arrow says that it does 75% more damage. It means that this modifier is not used in skill description window. Moreover, 1.477 multiplier is the same for wrath aura as well and I do not understand where it comes from. we will use 67-111 as the base number and 99-164 as the multiplicative every 10% of projectile damage will add 10% from the base number to the multiplicative every 10% of increased damage nodes like Trickery will add 10% of base number to the multiplicative as an example, 20% from Trickery and 20% from projectile damage will give 126-209 any 10% of elemental damage will add 10% from the base number to the multiplicative any 10% of elemental damage with attack skills will add 10% from the base number to the multiplicative And now the interesting part, increased effect of non-curse auras will add some percents to the base number which will be multiplied by 1.477. And how to use this information your flat physical damage from the Lioneye's glare will always be around 130-490, you can add here any flat physical damage from gear multiplied by bow damage modifier. example: I have a bow with 164% and damage 80-304 which gives 128-486 base damage, if I add Drillneck quiver with 12-22 flat damage the combined damage will be 486+22*1,64=522 or 149-522 every 10% of projectile damage will add (304+22)*0.1 and we need to add this number to 522 bow base damage with quiver 93-326 (209.5 mean) and 149-522 multiplicative (335,5 mean) anger 20 lv has 83-138 (110 mean) base damage and 122-204 (163 mean) multiplicative wrath 20 lv has 16-248 (132 mean) base damage and 23-366 (194 mean) multiplicative the physical part of the combined mean damage is 48.5% anger part is 23.5% wrath part is 28% So the projectile damage is 1.5 times stronger than elemental damage because it affects both the physical and elemental parts And let's compare +20% to aura power and +30% to elemental damage if we have +70% of projectile damage (for my build above) 209.5*0.7+335.5+163*1.2+194*1.2+110*1.2*0.7+132*1.2*0.7=1113.83 209.5*0.7+335.5+163+194+110*1+132*1=1081.15 Actually, the aura effect modifier is almost 3 times stronger than elemental damage and about 1.5 times stronger than projectile damage |
