[Discontinued] Start from 0, farm uber Atziri within 1 month

Btw how much difference does Incinerate currently make? I just started league yesterday and I'm still stuck with a Lifesprig (level 50 atm), can't find a decent scepter :(

Guess I'm not in a hurry though, since everything melts like butter anyway.

I got the arc, aura, totem and cwdt gem set up done, but what would u recommend to put in spell shield and boots?

if i read the playstyle it says place totems, arc and cast enduring cry, but where does that come in?
do u have a character with the full set up ? would u mind make your profile so i could check it out if so?

It really comes down to preference. A movement skill, a golem, another cwdt.

What about Sire of Shards, is it worth using over wand+shield?

I have problems with atziri clone phase + zombie phase.

First question about zombie phase. Where do u place your totems? Couz a lot of time when i place totem they focus atziri and many zombies heal atziri.

Second i have 3.6k hp + 5.9k es but still almost all the time i am f*cked in clone phase. Maybe my dps is too low? 5,7k on totem. My gems are still lvl 19 so it will go up a little bit.

Third question do u use just one Rains of spilnter or u can use two?

Rain of splinters is unique (it reads "Limited to: 1").

I have the same problem, 6.5k dps on totems (still 90M to level 20) but she just doesn't care.

Make sure you check my VOD for atziri here.

Other than that your DPS is a bit low. Make sure you're using a tabula for 6L, and slower projectiles for Atziri. Also feel free to take more DPS passives instead of life passives. 5.9k ES is really high, you could easily drop down to 3-4k.

Finally got atziri, wasted all my attempts on the first split phase, before doing the rest without dying. It seems very easy to do now, after some practice - just keep moving, the flameblast is the only thing that can hit you, and since its on a fixed timer and always spawns at your feet, its fairly easy to predict. Don't refresh totems when flameblast is about to happen :)
The other phases are completely trivial.

Btw I'd take off enfeeble unless you're running anti-curse flasks (which you will run out of, anyway). It probably makes flameblasts hurt more, but I think having to dodge them for a shorter period of time is better.

The trio still gives me lots of trouble, though. If I don't kill them right away, I'm basically done because whenever I reenter the room I get swarmed by the little dudes that two-shot me before I can even get to the last boss.

Do you think infernal mantle is worth getting if I can drop PoE to stay above 35% mana? A 5L seems to cost 1ex here. Not a fan of tabula, unless its +1, but those are significantly more expensive.

Hey, come here to say thanks for good idea, how to start league.
I went to 1MSC one week late and wanted to try totem and a char with es+life. My goal was to get few brittles and finish it in standard.
But I got more luck then deserved and here I am on the brink to respec to the coc build.

I started with a Lifespring I got from friend, first with Flametotem and by l20 or so when some vendor gave me a 4l continued with incinerate totem + selfcast incinerate. Got Discipline as early as I could and cruised along using 3l zombies as meatshield.
End of normal I had about 1.3k life + 1k es and enough dmg to do act4 with beyond and no death.
First death was in act4 Daresso. Was a bit crazy with beyond but I could at least do it solo.
Bought then my first 5l for 1c

For cruel Malachai i had 2k life + 2k es. Did it with a random guy, but he was merely a meatshield, could have done it alone.
In merc I had enough currency to buy mediocre splinters (15c) since i didn't spend a penny till now and used all fusing I had for that.
Then the build started to shine. Evrything melted and I could farm lake pretty efficiently.
So i spend a bit of currency to finalize the character.

So for about 3ex i had a char with 3.2k life + 4k es and 6.2k incinerate tooltip and 35/125 MF.
That seems good enough to do up to tier 8 rare maps with all mods on. Every income from that point on went to Brittles.
is great for the build and can be reused for coc build. Before one can use
it make possible running Disciple+Purity+AA with l1 enlighten from about l80 and still have enough mana to cast golem. So I finished all challenges with ease.

Now comes the luck part. I found 2 Brittles from Voll after patch. Chanced a Void Battery I sold for 7.5ex and found a decent Ventors which I could trade for 1 Brittle. Farmed the rest and here is the result.


Now at level 87 I am ready for respec. Btw by my count one needs over 30 regrets for that at that point. I used some free respec during leveling so its 38 for me. Since it is not always easy to buy regrets. My hint is to farm temple map for Vinias Token. With my MF I had a full set which is 10 regrets after 6 maps.

So thank again for a good idea and now its time to try out Cyclone CoC and whats so great about it.
