MTX for reward plzzzzz

+1 for flashback league, would like to get tempest and warbands added into it as well. ambush+warbands+invasion yes please! :D

The combination league sounds like a lot of fun. I've always played (slowly) in standard. But I finally feel like I've finished my main character, so Right now would be a prime time for me to jump into a league full force. This combination league sounds great to me.

My personal preference would be for a flashback league with both Tempest and Warbands as the default baseline, and others added for the spikes in dificulty. This would allow for players who voted for the other option to play on the baseline days and not feel too put out. Also it would potentially allow (as previous combo events did) for completion of softcore league challenges while playing hardcore, or vice versa.

HOWEVER

If you want this to encourage new players to continue after they have started within this one month event, then it shouldn't have ALL the bells and whistles thrown in, or the main game will seem quiet and less interesting by comparison. This could result in a large loss of recently aqcuired players as soon as the event ends.
For this type of player the slection should be just the two most recent leagues. that way it isn't too far from what they'll experience in the months and years to come of playing the game.

For a reward system I prefer the challenges to level caps as a system for awarding prizes, and i like the idea of giving MTX as the reward. It allows players to be fancy as a result of their in-game skill, and also introduces new people to the joys of decking your exiles out in the coolest way. It should therefore be of the partial completion type so that even newer players feel they can accomplish something.

One important question (may already be answered):
Is this going to revert to a parent league or go void afterward?

Flashback.
MTX armor was THE most motivating prize you have offered so far... more of that.
Fix thresholds for prize levels over random draws.

Prize MTX is something certain to get people's attention but I feel the suggestion in first page of a charity is also very good... thought we could do both at same time, but then I feel the charity would be hurt, so no.

prizes supplied by hardware sponsors are good if they are kind lottery not just for top ladder.

Just Warbands/Tempest would be IMO a little bit well like another Temptest. It's really hard to notice the Warbands etc so, more fun would be 1 month flashback WITH Tempest/Warbands.

Start with some chill leagues combination like ambush, domination, Onslaught and then make it harder every few days. And at the end? Who cares, just pump there all the leagues for 1 week or so!

This way the contect would be harder and harder as the players progress.

i would prefer the hybrid tempest/warbands league. the flashback leagues are too rippy and because of this would limit your options for prizes.

as a HC only player (and visa versa if you are SC only player) it would be nice if we could still do the warband challenges if the hybrid league still?

for prize distribution, i thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that lead to the armor sets. alternate art is so nice, because it's alternate art, and it was guaranteed. while the random lottery prizes are pretty nice, in the end it's still a lottery, i'd rather have my prizes determined by my skill.
