Developer Questions and Answers

1) What % of GGG employees play the game at high end? (chain 80+ maps, lvl 98+ chars, mirrored/top tier items, t1 uniques)

2) Same question but with player base

3) Do you think those %s are healthy for the game? Are you happy with only that % of people experiencing the game to full extent?

4) PoE offers tons of posibilities for character customization but it is highly gated by currency / mindless grind / rng, right now it feels like the primary aspect is the market instead of the game itself.

1. 2 exalted orbs seems like a pretty good deal for the meta crafting mods, will we see them re-balanced to higher prices in the future? Or is the team happy with their price and use as they are now?

2. I am a 3D modeler and particle effects artist. With the move to the new larger offices, will GGG have any job openings in those or related departments in the near future? I am entering my senior year of college next week, and I am looking for a job in my field. Come June I will be graduated and ready for action. (Right now I draw custom T-shirt designs.)

1. Why was Lord Mayor Ondar's lore in the game changed?

This is a simple question, but it reflects the Lore design behind the game: does the Lore team constantly check the storyline looking for improvements and trying to find places where the lore could be better, which is what prompted the Lord Ondar change? Did this change because Awakening would originally use Lord Ondar somehow, and the modification was kept even after the Lord Ondar Awakening content was dropped? Or something else entirely?



2. How is the voice acting in the game recorded? How much instruction are the voice actors given? Is it something extremelly detailed like "Read those two words, then pant, then continue to read until this word and take a deep breathing", or is it more free form like "Read this as if you were sad"?


3. Any funny bloopers during the voice recording in the game?

Hi guys!
First let me thank you a lot for the amount of fun your game has provided to me. Probably one of the best games I've ever played.

Now some questions.
1. What are the most popular music genres among devs?
2. Favourite meal? Hope there will be some spaghetti lovers out there ^^
3. Does the interaction with PoE artwork and lore affect your lives, and how? I, for instance, had some semi-nightmares linked with PoE mobs. They were awesome though :D.
Just curious if you think about the game you're working on a lot.

I'm not entirely sure of the spread of nationalities in the office, but is there any sport that interests everyone? Or, any office disagreements based on sport?
