Not in country until Jan 4th. Just upload my character to an offline planner. Gear and tree will get uploaded and you can see for yourself

Hi guys!

I'm fairly new to the game but I already love HC and never went back to SC since the first 2 days. I already asked Grocery via PM but I read that he has some days off (have some nice holydays, mate): I played till ~65 with his CA Build (not 100% but pretty close) and died. I would like to start all over again with a Shadow but don't know which one of CA or Blast Rain is more suited for playing the Talisman HC league.

I'm pretty sure that both builds will work but maybe one of them has little advantages like a little safer in Maps, a little bit faster/safer in leveling, a little bit better for endgame content which I never saw to this day,..you get the point.

I will ask the same question in the other build thread, too.

CA will be safer by far. Blast Rain is more fun and more capable to clear t15 maps, but it will be less safe than CA. CA has run and shoot mechanics will keeping life regen, full life/res pieces, and just a more overall defensive playstyle/build.

Blast Rain on HC is a bit trickier, but doable. ZiggyD has a real good build on blast rain as a duelist. This build would work fine for HC, but is not as safe as a duelist start. Just being honest!

Level 81 Palace Map Zerg

Hi guys, with the info released a few days ago on BR and the PB keystone, anyone have any thoughts? (https://dd.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/3xsvb7/rory_just_confirmed_that_point_blank_does_not/)

Wondering if anyone doing higher maps has tried with and without, and if you felt any difference. I managed to snag a cheap 5l Chin Sol, but the keystone loses a LOT of damage on really far away stuff.

I've started playing this build in Talisman and quite enjoying it, got a 5l Harbinger and can get up to 21k sheet dps at max charges and 68% crit chance when 3 power charges.

Had almost cleared atziri but I was dying due to first time there and refusing to read guides \o/.
Damage is more than viable even for uber (I assume) if you can dodge and know tactics especially if you can get a 6l which will absolutely sky rocket your damage.

I play without point blank after reading the reddit test that recently popped up from Rory (see post above) and I've not had any trouble, due to my pool I'm clearing t1-6 maps without any trouble, practically one shotting most packs but I can clear t11 as well from some of the groups that I've joined.

Can't wait to save up for a 6l Harbinger and keep on carpet bombing enemies with freedom!

The point blank news seems reasonable and it makes sense. With chinsol and point blank keystone you do a ton of damage. I prefer harbinger without pb but using a harbi and pb or chinsol with or without pb are all very viable.

Ok..first off, fun, enjoyable build. I went ahead, got some stuff together, regretted, and followed your skill tree, watched the video..read and re-read your guide. Tested it out a few times..I like it. However, I know the DPS is low..just seems really low comparatively (sp?).
Can you possibly take a look at my toon and let me know what I can change...kinda new at the game, so don't use big words..please and ty.

Your account is set as Private, go into your account Privacy setting and uncheck all the boxes, particularly the one that hides the character tab :)
