Hi.
Im following ur guide. i bought the mace and the shield. and when i checked the price of the helm... is expensive XD is there a cheap option until i can buy the scold bridle? i forgot... a noob question: should i rise quality at 20% to the mace and the shield? ES/RF burn breakdown calculation:
mosaic kite shield base ES = 37
ES increases: 100% shield 20% quality 37 * 2,2 = 81 33% form intelligence (167int on my current tree/gear) 10% ES increase Sanctity node (at Templar start) -----------= 81 * 1,43 = 116 116 total es SAME calc on 80% RotP shiled + NO quality = 95 total ES CASE 1....116 es WITH Q and good 100% roll CASE 2....95 es WITHOUT Q and bad roll RF burns 70% max es @ 88% res: (100-88) x 0,7 = 8,4% burn of total ES= 10 burn/ sec for CASE 1 8 burn/sec for CASE 2 However.... +6 regen on the shield = 4 degen and 2 degen case 1 and case 2 respectively the RF burn on RotP can be ignored for it's own ES gains TLDR: OKAAAAY.... damage modifiers
It would be rather: 55,000 dps RF incinerate + 25% increased form celestial punishment = [unknown because not enough data + complex calculations] BUT you could force that to show up in tooltip by equipping a 25% spell damage shield with no other stats that alter spell dmg, just that, no intel or cast speed, also keep in mind jewels with: increase in spell dmg while holding shield may alter the math so dont do it with mace but shield...
Example calculation
After analyse of your stats, gear and dps pictures, I estimate you are around 821% incr damage Celestial judgement: +25% = 846% Again, I do NOT know your exact current stats so it's real hard to calculate, also LMP GMP makes it not easy to do, so I ignore that for now LvL 19 incinerate: 134 - 200 fire dmg = 167 Unmodified Dmg per HIT, not DPS your tooltip in picture: 1952 - 2940 = 2446 /1,59 from RF(LvL20?) = 1538 DMG per hit 1538 / X(inc dmg) = 167 X = 1538 / 167 = 9,21 =>> 821% increased damage + 25% celestial = 846% * 167 = 1580 DMG per hit =42 DMG per hit extra 42 * 1,59 (RF LvL 20) = 67 DMG per hit extra 67 * 17(rough castspeed) = 1135 DPS increase This is a very rough estimate, I don't have all data... (exact cast speed and dmg increases... intel...) But we can assume for now, even if my calcs are off: 55,000 + 1200 (the new celestial calc) = 56200 x 4 = 224,800 dps on stage 3 incinerate Short: the above calc is where to place celestial punishment. Here's a simple calculation.
34k vaal shell + Scold's + 16.6 CPS * 2 * 0.7 (echo) = 789k dps for 10 seconds. Combined with Slower Proj 48k Incinerate (my own incinerate dps) *4 981k dps for 10 seconds on bosses. Noob question:
my vaal shell does only dmg when something hits me? So how do u ppl get to calc dps on that? Never used it before and didnt even know its in game before reading this build lol Vorici can shove his fuse up his [removed]

" This helmet makes you take damage for each incinerate you cast, proccing vaal shell for every said cast, which is doubled by spell echo linked to molten shell and then reduced by 30% since spell echo adds 70% more cast speed and not 100. Ergo 16.6 Casts per second of incinerate equal 23 vaal shell procs per second. Needless to say that without Scold's vaal shell will only proc when you take damage from enemies. *Note that I'm still not positive on the exact numbers of how it works, so take the numbers with a grain of salt. Yo I just thought of it 5 min after posting lol.
Tnx for confirming. Ur dps calc should be more or less correct yeh. How about... bloodrage to get 3 frenzies? 12% inc cast speed right? AND 4% more dmg per frenzy = ur total dps x 1.12 no and some rxtra cast spd? Dunno if we have extra gem slot.... Vorici can shove his fuse up his [removed]
