Really? A revenant MTX after you nerf the shit outta them? You love shitting on summoners dont you? Still no improvements on our ability to sustain a map pool?
Maybe you guys should lay of the all that crack you bought with the mtx/supporter cash.

It's a spectre MTX.....

I have some mixed feelings about immunities. I hated them from D2. I can see and understand the arguments in favour of them for PoE, but in a game as mechanically deep and diverse as this, immunities have no place here.

With status ailments, stun & bleed included, GGG you already have various mechanics to mitigate them without resorting to outright immunity.
* Duration modifiers
* Chance to avoid
* Stun Threshold (why not have the opposite of threshold reduction?)
* DoT effectiveness

These are all far more interesting ways to challenge builds rather than outright voiding them.
The same goes for leech immunity; why not have mods that mess with the shiny new mechanics introduced in The Awakening?

Please GGG, PoE is better than immunities.

The problem is that there's absolutely no choice for the Congealment map mod or the status effect immunity mod. If your build doesn't care about X, it's a free mod. If your build relies on either, they're both auto-rerolls. A Whispering Ice build is not going to run a map where the chilled ground won't stop enemies. A perma-freeze build most certainly won't run a map where the primary feature of the build doesn't work. I can't see any melee build running a map where they can't leech back all the damage they take as a result of being melee.

These mods are the equivalent of "X% increased light radius". They're meant solely to tax players and to make sure that nobody gets a free ride on top-end maps. It's stupid to pretend they're anything but.

Replace X with anything. There you go, you basically described 90% of map mods.

Are you using EE? EE IS A FREE MOD!
Are you using Blood Magic? BLOOD MAGIC IS A FREE MOD!
Are you CI? DESECRATED GROUND IS FREE MOD / MONSTERS POISON ON HIT IS A FREE MOD!
Are you using mainly elemental damage? x% Monster Physical Resistance/Monsters reflect x% of Physical Damage ARE FREE MOD!
Are you solo/not using golem? Monsters' Skills Chain x additional times IS A FREE MOD!
Are you using mainly physical damage? +x% Monster Lightning Resistance/+x% Monster Cold Resistance/Monsters reflect x% of Elemental Damage/+x% Monster Fire Resistance ARE FREE MODS!
Using RF/poison arrow/trap (and many more!)? REFLECT IS A FREE MOD!

and so on. Really. Problem WAS there was nothing bad in going leech or elemental prolif. (tbh more so than it doing sick damage... which too was a problem)

There are mods present that makes some builds unable to do them, and this was fine for some reason, but when leech and ele profil is in question, it always needs to be "able to overcome" these mods. :V Try running RF and reduced regen, or CI with Blood Magic. Yeah, there you go.

Way to take my point and make an argument on the smallest, least significant point while completely ignoring everything else I said. You should go into politics.

EE, desc. ground, monster resistance, chain, really just about every mod you listed except Reflect (and in a few narrow cases, BM) are free mods if your build is right, yes. If the mods negatively impact your build, you can still run them and it just increases the difficulty of the map. The point I was making is that for leech and status effect immunity, if they impact your build the mods will 100% be reroll mods with no middle ground for making the map more difficult.

These new mods are binary; either you don't care about them or they're a map reroll tax.

How does the Of Insulation mod affect Righteous Fire?
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems with just potatoes.

How about removing the "of crashing" mod that's increasingly likely to roll on your maps the higher lvl and IIQ they have?
