[2.0.x] Iron Will Incinerate Totems 1200+ Strength, 16k+ tooltip, 8k+ life (updated 11/13/2015)

Whats the best way to roughly level this? And how might you attain perhaps even higher life, so that you may reserve a portion of it for an aura or two?

I was thinking that perhaps HoA & Purity of Elements with a couple of less mana reserved nodes may benefit the build by allowing for more gearing freedom perhaps. Thoughts?

Flame Totem + Fire Storm, not close. These two are so powerful in conjunction with each other that there really isn't any other way. You'll notice your damage starting to lower in your mid 40s as we don't pick up very many damage nodes but it is doable. Once you feel like you can, grab Ancestral Bond and start with Flame Totem. Once you get solid cast speed and your 6L, start running Incinerate.

We have just about all the life you can get with the build. Unfortunately since we're blood magic, running auras doesn't really happen, even with Mortal Conviction. You could theoretically run a herald if you like but the damage really doesn't add enough to warrant losing so much life.

In terms of gearing freedom, keep in mind that you don't have to immediately go into Alberons, BSC, and 2x Doon as soon as you can put em on. Play with what gear you have and just look to going into them when you can.

Two more videos added. Once again I apologize for the video quality, not entirely sure how to fix it as my OBS settings seem like they should make it a bit crisper than that. If anyone has any ideas, let me know and I'll record some more :D

Would spell totem work with any other spell other than incinerate? Obviously the build would have to be changed around a bit.. but would ball lightning, arc, storm call, freezing pulse, firestorm etc work? Or do they not scale as well as incinerate?

Level 86 on this build and having quite a-bit of fun, although I've hit a wall of not being sure what I should upgrade on my gear first, obviously not using a Tabula would be ideal but would like your input on my rings/belt/etc



Edit: Do you think this build would be Atziri Viable, I currently have a CI Incinerater that I use for Atziri but would love to be able to combine my efforts into 1 build suits all type deal

All builds are Atziri viable. Apex is more of a mechanics test than anything else. Our damage is also quite high so the vaals and atziri herself should not be an issue. The trio might end up being a small problem since our totems will die quite quickly but this could be solved by running Spire of Stone.

It's mostly about clear speed. You could run spell totem for most of those (though ball lightning would probably end up being the better of your list) but they'll all end up clearing slower than Incinerate in the current meta. If you don't want to use Incinerate, the build is exactly the same for duo flame totem.

Your biggest upgrade is going to be your chest. Save up so you can afford a high armour/life/strength chest specifically and you'll see your survivability skyrocket. Due to our off-hand Doon, armour scales really well so ideally we're wielding a 2k+ chest (though anything 800+ is acceptable. I'm looking to upgrade mine eventually). Your rings, as you mentioned, also need some work since neither have strength but I'd upgrade Rapture Circle first since Golem Spiral has some nifty cast speed.

maybe you should add a little tab for eary leveling info.. i just came back to the game and yea flame totem was obvious but i think i would have had an easier time if i knew of firestorm lol.. yea i know its pathetic i didnt know but just thought i would suggest it for newb friendlyness.. just hit lvl59 and the build is going great.. fun to play even w my 5link incinerate its powerful.. i have a 6l waiting for me at lvl62:) so i can add faster projectiles in:) i dont think ill be able to get a second doon for quite some time so ill be using a shield for a while im sure.. that should help lessen the resist blow to switching over.. if i knew how id link my chest into this post so you could critique it. it has a few low rolls (+16str real bad i kno w doon)but its the best i could afford.
