" Clarity isn't required if you get Shaper but it does make it easier to keep casting your totem in situations where it needs to be spammed. I'm probably gonna do some slight respecs soon to do some testing with a much lower level clarity, shaper, and a herald and see how it feels. | |

Stupid questions! This is essentially my second character now and I had just hit a wall with my kinetic blast witch.
1. Is this more effective than the witch or scion versions I have seen recent posts of??? I had also noticed the regular flame totem build is still being updated somewhere on the forum. I'm glad this is a marauder build since it's my preferred character and the iron will mechanic makes it so much more interesting to me. 2. I am wondering if this is magic find viable? 3. Is lightning coil viable with this build? The only valuable thing I have is a 6 socket high rolled lightning coil which had cost me 18ex ): Most of what I have is maybe 3ex or 4ex worth of mats that I cant seem to sell. 4. " It eventually far outclasses other incinerate builds numbers wise but for clear speed it will match them (mostly due to totems dying, making the clear speed lower to the other builds despite numbers being better). The thing about Iron Will is that its ceiling is only as high as your gear availability. With bad gear and a low budget, this build will seem abysmal. With the amount of currency I have put into my current character, I am surpassing just about every other incinerate spec. " Answered somewhere else in this thread. It is sorta MF viable. For solo play, you would swap to Flame Totem instead of Incinerate so you can throw in IIR instead of FC (FC is too valuable to take out in incinerate) and then swap in what IIR gear you can handle but still keep maxed resists. Your damage will go down a reasonable ways since you'll be losing a large amount of strength but it'll still be fine for low level maps and dried lake. For group farming, this is arguably the best culler spec with flame totem because our base life is so stupidly high. You'll be able to equip all the MF gear you want and still have 5-6k life at high levels, you just wont do any damage which is why you need a group. " Can it be used? Yes but it'll take some crazy gear otherwise to make it work without Purity of Lightning, with which we likely lose Anger, costing a lot of damage. LC is good but it probably isn't much better than a high armour chest with some nice strength. Our defenses against physical damage becomes surprisingly good as you get better and better gear (my default armour is ~10k, 27k with buffs). " GMP/LMP are never used in this spec. If you read the guide on the first post, you'll see we use the Rain of Splinters Unique Jewel to create extra projectiles. | |

Decided to change a few points around and try Righteous Fire and man, the dps is pretty bonkers. My RF gem is only 13 or so with no quality and I'm at 18k with it active. I don't think getting to 20k+ is out of the question. I'm not sure if I feel it's worth the loss in life regen and overall life pool though. Not being able to run less regen, no regen, -max, Blood Magic and Vulnerability (I think) is also really crippling to end-game mapping. Not having any "extra" regen is really annoying on some tempest maps as well. I'll try it some more but right now it feels like I'm sacrificing survivability and map adaptability that I need for damage that I don't.
