2.0.1 Patch Notes

I didn't ever find thornflesh to be a problem, but one less thing to worry about now.

Yesterday I got to the boss in a quarry map and it would not attack me and could not be attacked. it seemed stuck on a broken wooden cart and so I had to just leave.

I haven't run another quarry map yet.

.... why ? always tought that reflect was part of the game and forced ppl to be cautious if they didnt wannt rip suddenly but with this one.. meh
Sometimes I get a feeling that most patches GGG does are only for streamers or hardcore players (by hardcore players I mean people with a lot of free time that plays everyday).
I`m level 87 on tempest, almost 88. I just got to this level because I`m on vacations, next week classes start again and I won`t have many time to play.
What is the point, for me, to have a new ultra difficulty map if I can`t even go away from 71-72?
I have a stash full of shitty 70- maps. I go to a 76 map for example, and the boss drops a freaking tropical islands map.
This map system makes me feel like i`m desperately trying to play path of exile but the game doesn`t let me do it. I`m level 88 and I see myself all the time doing 71 or 72 maps because decent maps doesn`t drop.
Even if I feel ready to do such a challenging map/boss, right now the feeling I have is that I`ll never have a chance to touch this map. I was watching Etup`s stream and he vendored 3 80`s map to get one 81.
This is stupid as hell but why would he even care? He is a streamer, he has a lot of fanboys that give him anything he needs and assist him, he can just vendor a 81 map for a scroll fragment if he wanted to.
But me, and 99.9999% of this game`s players, are normal people, so please stop nerfing us. Thank you.
i sort of agree with the above comment. ive actually played on and off since beta for this game. probably have roughly 4-500 hours which isnt much given how long its been out (desync i just couldnt handle and constantly gave up on the game).

i feel like most content in the game i will never see unless im a paid streamer or hc player in general. recently i got 3 of my top characters to do maps and so far out of the 30-40 ish maps ive done i havent found a single map over lvl 70. honestly i had no idea maps went over 70 until i read this post.

so i ask whats the fking deal? clearly we support the game and want to play it. why hide content or let only top 1% be allowed to play it? its already bad enough with no auto inventory management, no streamlined player item selling, being forced to research builds to reach end acts, constantly changing skill tree. the game is so highly involved now a days and constantly changing (sometimes not for the better) that it might fall off the map for most people. especially once games like lineage eternal and Ark online come out. the game is still fun to play occasionally but its the only game ive put so much time into and never seen or will see the end content to.

I don't push too hard in the game and I have a few level 75s and a 76. Haven't traded for any maps. Lots of rng i guess.

Like being hit for 15,000+ damage through flasks, resists and a boat load of armor?

That warning is there for a DANG good reason.
It'd be nice to not hard freeze. Just saying. YES I AM INSANE, ZANA! :>

Are you serious? What are you talking about? Casters have never been any stronger in this game than now. Also there's for sure over a 100 valid Tempests endgame builds and probably 1000s or more of valid Warbands builds...

Looking forward to the changes! Keep it up, GGG. (also pls don't forget to fix some bugs, as totems not attacking tempest-summoned, or lightning warp+fc animation not always shown properly on lockstep). Thx!
