More nerfs to the final boss -_- , i'm gonna miss when the final boss fight was intense, challenging and hardcore, good i did him before any nerf occure .

Go and do him in merciless then where he's untouched. You can still enjoy all of that (and rip in the process).
again map losses! lost many 78+ maps due of this disconnect bug u said u wanna fix
I don't see any "The crazy lag AND frame rate drop that occurs sometimes is history"...
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good

map drops still suck and i lost many of my highest maps lvl 78-79-80 due this disconnect, i cant re-enter and map is lost. its my highest maps and i collected them hard. come on this sucks...

If you read the proper description of the skill, Lightning Strike is two sided. The Melee side is when you hit a monster which then kickstarts/procs the projectile side of the attack. The projectile side is not melee, technically speaking and has been stated and confirmed many times. So activating Fortify with the Projectile side of the attack is a bug, not a nerf.

(Edit)It is important to note that despite the confusing wording of this skill, the projectile portion of this attack in no way scales off the melee portion of the attack - in essence, the Lightning Strike skill does two completely separate things simultaneously, a melee attack (which deals x% of the base damage, and of which 50% of the physical damage is converted to lightning damage), and a ranged attack (which shoots 3 projectiles, which deal 70% of the attack damage of the attack each, and of which 50% of the physical damage is converted to lightning damage).
The Fey will never lose, as one of their members, Chap, has taken it upon himself to right their wrongs and see to it that Liesel and Magiere are safe.

I only dabbled in this game so far. Mostly lurked the forums and never REALLY got into it.
This changed recently with Awakening. I decided to try out a multicurse summoner, followed AngryAA's guide for it.

I leveled with flame totem and firestorm which felt super smooth. I had a really good playing experience, then I did act 4. The first zones where really fun and then I did the Bosses.

I still continued to play, even though I absolutely think the bosses are just badly designed beyond belief. Super small arenas with puddles on the ground, giant attacks you have to evade and adds. It's like you're just throwing everything at the player at once, instead of designing actually good boss fights. But let's not get too much into that.

I finally managed to reach endgame with a character, yesterday I found a Queen's Decree and blowed like 100 chromatics on it trying to get 3 blue sockets, didn't work out but I decided to use it anyway. 4 specters. 4 fucking specters. dual curse setup, haven't had the courage to equip my guardian with awesome uniques yet in case he dies.

And I had SO MUCH FUN. Please try to understand what you did with this patch. You didn't nerf an op spec, look at the leaderboards. How many summoners are top 100? None? Two? There's no justification at all for what you did, except trying to please the few idiots, who keep whining about revenants being to good, because god forbid summoners being GOOD for once. Not OP, just GOOD. Decent. Most importantly: FUN TO PLAY.

While I absolutely realize that it's stupid to "demand" anything in situations like this. I really hope you'll reconsider. Because as it is, I'll just quit the game. Maybe I'm the only one who is that salty about a change like this. But to me, the only reason I really got back into the game, was because I could play something very similar to the good old summoner necro from D2, that was actually decent, felt fun to play and just overall strong.

There are like a dozen builds, that are better than summoner and you didn't touch any of them.
You're also just completely lying when you say you didn't want to touch merciless etc. and then you nerf specters across all difficulties. Either stand up for what you say and restore merciless specters or don't write stuff like that, which you then contradict in the next paragraph. Just wtf.

TL;DR: I had fun as a returning player, even spend money on the game and you ruined it for me. So I'll probably just quit.

PS: Please don't try and whiteknight GGG's changes, I don't care and there's no "convincing" me on how I feel about this. If you think everything is fine, good for you and no, you can't have me stuff when I leave :P
Chris will you stop nerfing the game and making it easier for newer players please?

You want new players to stay a bit longer in the game so lets nerf normal and cruel more? this is so lame!

I remember you saying "we made this arpg that we wanted to play" right now its like "we made this arpg that they wanted to play"

Please reconsider your thoughts about PoE! i know from newer players will come the $$$ but don't push out of your game the old-school ones.
