let's talk about tabula rasa :)

Technically this really changes up the economy in a big way.

Now there's a cycle of

Farm for Tabula rasa + other loot you get from it
Sell Tabula rasa to be vaal or, or vaal orb it yourself.
Bad ones get sold to be divines, profit no matter what happens to the tabula.
Divines are now much more commmon

It's a win win for anyone who farms this. This will be a cornerstone in any new player wanting to gear up. More players farming (Merc area actually is also higher level, dropping most decent items) effects other areas too. This is different from farming docks or something because people have a visible idea of progress and a large reward at the end for finishing it, thus encouraging even the most casuals to have a simple idea what to do.

I dont like the change, I think it should be far more rare than it is. Goldrim etc being a lot more rare was a good move I think overall, the tabula thing seems to counteract that. I think its an ok item as long as its a rare thing, if I were them I would have made it more rare than it already was, not more common.

I dont think its a healthy leveling unique at all, its too powerful and it gets players used to 6 links who have no real way of getting 6 links endgame on a proper armour. It should exist but it should be very rare.

They probably didn't expect it to be farmed this much. I imagine they balanced the card drops under the assumption that a few people will farm them, but over all you're not going to give the whole population of PoE the chance of getting the item from any area like with most uniques, so theyre probably balanced to be somewhat more common than the unique in question. That probably backfired when people realized what a great zone aqueducts is to farm, and how often the cards drop.

Sorry I only play leagues, so I guess were talking about different things. The OP referenced the new leagues so that's what I was thinking when I posted what I did. If what that guy posted works for h core / pillow core, my apologies.

I think it should be rarer as it kind of devalues the 5l chests in standard variant leagues, sure tabula isnt very good choice in hc but in standard leagues tabula is way better choice than even perfectly rolled 5l chest
