So in conclusion:

-buy 2 corrupted tabula rasa for 30c
-vendor it for 2 divine orb
-sell your 2 divine for exalted
-re sell your exalted for 40-45c
-profit?
-rinse and repeat

Did i miss something?

That's actually really interesting.

Tabula has become a steady source of divine orbs. Orbs that, when it comes to natural drops, are about as rare as Exalted orbs.

Maybe they'll be less volatile now? The problem with them has always been that they're really not in all that much demand right up until people start trying to perfect-roll their gear, where they become super scarce overnight.

You missed the changes your plan would make to the demand side of the equation. You start buying TRs up and the price will go up. You start selling exalteds and the price will go down.

Divine Orbs are actually rarer than Exalted Orbs. Chris has said so in the past, and I doubt that has changed.

That's kind of his point... now that there's an "easy" way to farm divines, they're going to become much more common.

To be frank, I wouldn't be surprised at all if a large portion of the available divine orbs come from vendored 6Ls, and of those I'm sure quite a few are bricked Tabulas. I don't think we'll see much of a difference. :)
i am not entirely convinced tabbys / divines will totally crash.

Humility cards are reasonably common , to be sure , but tabby is also the kind of item that a normal player will get one of and be done. it is not something that is particularly viable to farm multiple sets of.

So I think what will happen is people will farm humility less and less as the leagues go on naturally as the priority of getting a cheap 6 link diminishes.

That being said having a method to quickly get a 6l armor has pretty much made ALL other armor pieces (in the context of leveling) meaningless.

im level 85 going on 86 and i probably wont switch out my tabby till i either 5 link my vis or just out right buy a pre linked one.

i think ggg underestimated just how much more important links are over everything else.

Divine orbs go for 8-10c and I've never seen anyone type "wts pure exalt for 2 divine"...at least not for over a year.

Just now

The rate to exa even go as low 1:1 2 weeks before 2.0 goes live (blame those windrippe and mjollner owner :P)

I think the tricky part about divine is that its very situational, the demand for it can be very low thus make it harder to find a buyer while sometimes you can rank up big profit in one day (just like when GGG announces unique items nerf before 2.0 goes live)

The point I'm making is that they may not be so volatile now; whereas before their value wildly fluctuated with demand, now when people start asking for divines, people will probably start hitting the Aqueducts, drive the value of Tabula down, and start grinding them into Divines once they get cheap enough and/or the value of Divines get high enough.

At the very least you won't have that supply problem, where you want to re-roll an expensive item you got for cheap because it has bottom rolls across the board, but you can't find a single person with a Divine to sell.

Fair enough, im agree it does make sense. Maybe sometime in the future when certain powerful unique is about to become legacy we will see alot of peoples mass grinding in aqueduct :)
