let's talk about tabula rasa :)

in the new leagues, the humility card is common,

and there are more tabula rasa then ppl who use it....

so prices are 18c for clean tabula, 15c for corrupted (with nothing) one,

and even a +1 tabula rasa cost 3ex....

i think it's great for new pplz who doesent have the money for 6l,

and i like the use of tabula rasa +1 :)

even the DPS between casters and attackers....

what do u think?

I like the cheap cost, even though I don't use one.

It's also a surprisingly defensive item despite appearances; the extra link allows you to put in some extra defensive supports that you normally wouldn't run on a 5-link or 4-link, particularly if your build isn't fleshed out yet and youre still in your 50-60s.

I can see it being the ultimate leveling item.

Tabula has been and always will be the best leveling item in the game. Throw it on at level 1, put your first 4-5 skill gems in it and you don't even need to worry about the sockets on your other gear for a while.
Once you get your first support gem, you can link it to all your skills, and you do more damage across the board instead of just having one skill do more damage.
Eventually you get enough support gems for your main skill, so you move your other skills to different places and just power through cruel and merciless using a 6-link setup without any worries other than your resists. And for that you can use purity of elements since you don't need any extra dps from heralds/auras.
After you hit the point where you can start running maps, you might want to consider finding a 5-link rare to replace it for the added defense, also allowing you to drop purity of elements if you get your resists high enough. Even if you don't want to replace it, it can still last a very long time on an end-game character.
It's also the go-to for testing different combinations of gem links, ie. for a cast on crit build.

I've gotta say, it's by far the most unique unique in the game, both in uses and design. It's one of very few items that are entirely focused on skill gems instead of stats.

I absolutely love the fact that it was made more common through divination cards, it's by far the most useful item in the game IMO.

To clarify what I meant by becoming a great leveling unique:

Before it was limited to either those who got really lucky or to people who powerlevel their second or third characters.

At 15c or less, I can see fresh characters in the league grabbing them around the same time they would normally buy a trash 5l (40s to 60s) and use it right up until they can get a much higher-powered item to replace it.

It's now much more viable for first-time-around characters.

I don't like the change at all. The item is too good to be that common. In a few weeks everyone will end up walking around in white robes. Only then GGG will realize their mistake, but it will be too late, they will nerf the drop rate making the rich "hardcore" people who farmed it a lot and have a dozen in their banks, even richer.

So in conclusion:

-buy 2 corrupted tabula rasa for 30c
-vendor it for 2 divine orb
-sell your 2 divine for exalted
-re sell your exalted for 40-45c
-profit?
-rinse and repeat

It took me 2 1/2 years to get one. It was a honest drop, i don't trade much.

I have a few completed divination card sets. Been too lazy to turn them in.

Oh they will nurf the rarity eventually, beliebe me.

Slap on a tabula and a 10c wand and dominate everything.

Divine orbs go for 8-10c and I've never seen anyone type "wts pure exalt for 2 divine"...at least not for over a year.
