Yes mate, I accounted for that. I am currently lagging behind the OP by +3 Max res in lightning and fire. (OP has 86/80/85 without flasks. I have 83/79/82.)

You only lose endurance charges when you discharge, so your power charges are dumped into endurance charges until you discharge. Meaning you can have more endurance charges than power charges.

I'm wanting to have a Mjolner build and I'm currently saving up for a Volls, Mjolner, and the other stuff, but I have a couple questions about gearing.

Corrupted vs uncorrupted Voll's Devotion. On standard, a corrupted Voll's is 5 to 8 exalts cheaper than an uncorrupted Voll's. In some of the more extreme circumstances, for the price of an uncorrputed Voll's, I can get a corrupted Voll's and a Mjolner. The thing is, I have no clue on how difficult it is to meet the str and int requirements for Mjolner with this build. Can I get away with using a corrupted Voll's?

Are your resists capped without Purity of Fire and Lightning, or do you factor the resist bonus from them when gearing up?

you should prob factor pof and pol into the calculation unless you want to be over capped for ele weakness maps etc. Corr vs uncorrupt well it would depend on the corruption some will stay the same 2 attributes at 23-24 could easily save you 2 passives depends how rich you are i guess.

Alright, thanks. I'll try to overcap if I can, but I won't sweat it too much if I only hit 40ish fire/lightning. It looks like from all the aura effectiveness nodes, that the purities will give about 55+ resists.

I'm rich enough to be considering a Mjolner build, but not rich enough to consider 7 exalts 'chump change'. It will take me longer to save up for the uncorrupt Voll's. I'm fairly patient, but if I can get away with spending less, I'd like to do that ideally. My thought was to make up the 23ish str/int on other pieces of gear. Though you raise a good point, I could use passives to make up the difference, or even jewels if really needed.

I'm not sure if this has been asked but have you checked the math of arctic armor vs grace?

I havent done the maths but since viveres (used to use arctic armour) and sgw both settled on grace i presume its superior, i used to run both since with alphas howl and l3 enlightens u can fit in pof/pol/grace and arctic armour (may need conq efficiency jewel). Something like uber atziri feels very smooth with all 4 running but then your move speed takes a hit so flame dash and faster casting would be very important.

Is enough with 1 only jewel with +2 mana gained on hit? I would like to focus on more attack speed and area damage in the second jewel.
