[2.0] Mjolner life based Rainbownuke witch, !!Deathless 82 Core/Uber!!
" Sorry, the boots are anything but awesome. Sure, they have a good amount of Evasion and 15% spelldodge can't hurt but hell you sacrifice to much resistances. I'd like to see your Belt and Ring which have to compensate for that. In addition you are sactificing like 5% overall crit chance and 20% Multiplicator. I dare to say that Ele Weakness could equalize that loss but hell i'd do a ton more damage with Ele Weakness Maligaros and retaking those crit nodes on the left, but as i can see from your tree you need all the nodes you had freed up spent to compensate for that. Also its not like that 6% reservation cost which brings along 16% Aura Efficiency is wasted. All in all i'd call it a step backwards. PN: Haegar_der_Schreckliche

Anyone tried to get perma-surgeons without legacy flasks/legacy mjolner (on single target)? It just doesn't seem to work anymore in Talisman, even with Magnate and Ball Lightning instead of Arc.
I am considering dropping 15% life and going to Ranger start for additional 40% flask charges gained, but I have a feeling that it still is not going to be enough. If that doesn't work, then there is no reason to play life based over Low Life RT in new leagues. The tree would look like (111 points): Last edited by Zeroexp#1058 on Jan 12, 2016, 9:41:55 PM

I havent tried it (since i dont have non legacy mjolner) only other thing u could use is inc crit strikes in mjolner since it boosts ur spell crit considerably.
Looking at your tree you can save 2 points by doing this unless u want to go to unwavering stance etc as you level further. Last edited by Fhark#5469 on Jan 13, 2016, 4:22:01 AM

" I played life/armor In talisman league. So far I am at level 91 and have no trouble with map bosses up to Tier 11(simply because I have not got many 12 or 13 maps). But I do have problem with perma-surgeons on single target. I don't think it is possible anymore since 20% is a BIG nerf. I think this guide is for legacy mjolner and flasks so you don't need magnate and you can use voidbringer and a rare belt to cover strength and resistance. For non-legacy mjolner, magnate is a must for perma surgeon. But if using both voidbringer and magnate, it means the only rares I am using are boots and one ring. Cover str/int/resistance with 2 rares and jewels is possible but would be too expensive. So I am using rare gloves with attack speed/accuracy and magnate and try to get attack speed and crit chance with lightning spells in jewels. I don't want to spend any points on 30 nodes or pure resistance/armor node. Last edited by hupple#0272 on Jan 13, 2016, 11:10:07 AM

" or just go POExyz and get ur jewels from there |

" That's not the point. Mapping is not an issue. I'm pretty sure you could clear t14s with a 4L kingsguard as long as you have a devo. Capping res and stats is possible with magnate and voidbringers. I had to pick up some str and int on jewels but they are nowhere near perfect. Had to pick up a +30 str node but if I get 20 more str on jewels, I can drop it.
Spoiler
I wanted to have a safer build for uber than my CoC Discharge in Tali. I played v3 of this build on standard for quite a while and just wanted to replicate it on the new league. Edit: I tried 20/20 Inc. Crit strikes in Mjolner and it doesnt do anything by itself (gained 8% spell crit on Ball Lightning). I specced out of life nodes and some armor nodes on my witch and picked up Ranger flask nodes and blasphemy (17/0) assasin's mark (20/20) for testing. Used 20/20 Blood Rage Mjolner is set up with lvl 4 discharge-lvl 4 ball lighning (from vendor)-20/20 Inc. Crit Strikes Merciless Gravicius is my testing dummy of choice, as he doesnt spawn adds and is easily accessible The flask charge generation is now noticeable, but still not reliable. It takes approx 8 seconds to generate 35-40 charges. Molten strike APS is 5.43 Last edited by Zeroexp#1058 on Jan 13, 2016, 11:25:55 PM

" From your gear I can see why you think with void and magnate str/int/resist are easy to cover. You don't have any accuracy on your gear except romira (while I have on both my golves and ring), do you think it is enough? I don't think we can replicate legacy flask using now. Need to be more careful about using flasks. I play the build simply because I want a strong build which can do uber but not require too much skills. I may try once in Talisman, if feel so bad I will just wait till end of league so I can grab legacy flasks from friends. From my current atziri run I can see some trouble with flasks. I will keep running and practicing to see what's going on. One thing may try is changing flask setup. Standard setup are life, granite, ruby, topaz, quicksilver. May change to granite, ruby*2, topaz*2. Quicksilver here is only for running away from double flameblast, but with flame dash and movement speed one may not need it? " just set up a lightning wharp +faster castin + lesser duration for geting away from double flame blast . mi video card is way under now , im siting on a radeon 6805 1 GB for 2 27' monitors and when im discharging like hell on atziri manytimes i dont see the double flame until its to late and so i ended up seting up lightning wharp to teleport out of there . accuracy on both rings and im on 90 % chance to hit . mi tree |

" i cant agree with that statement i get 12% more crit with discharge which is over 50% more critical strikes (eg from 20-32% chance to crit, i dont use voidbringer) , ball lightning has low crit chance to start with and it goes up about a 1/3rd, but if its not enough to keep your flasks up thats all that counts. The only other thing you can do to add crit strikes is add another spell or manually cast vortex blade with inc duration i believe each spin they can crit twice.
