Try using whirling blades for fortify then, i like it better than leap slam as a movement skill. (But it obviously cant pass obstacles so i still sometimes have to leap)

With fortify on whirling blades and an autocurse setup with herald of thunder, i practically have 100% uptime on both damage reduction and the 4 power charges and never have to worry about either:

Missed your video before, just saw it now.

Brilliant style! i enjoyed watching it.

I like the way you use whirling blades to move into the centre of the group and have extended the AoE of ice crash to encompassed the entire screen almost.

Please post your items and tree and i will add them and this video to the builds list.

Thanks again for a great video.

@Fathervic

Sorry it didn't work out for you.

The build uses a specific multi-button style and concentrates on damage output and an over-reliance on the bino regen.

It suits my fast paced style and my damage output is high enough to ensure i perma-freeze most bosses to keep me safe.

I am currently testing out acro+phase for extra defenses and working out the best waysto mitigate damage. Perhaps even a change to Lightning Coil.

I hope you can check out the build again in the future at some point
So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death.

Nothing special really, im just using increased AoE instead of conc effect for trash packs and swapping to conc for the really tough bosses.

Gear is pretty trash since i started from zero in warbands. But considering im only using items worth just under 10 exa in total im having a pretty great time:

For the tree i decided to skip out on iron reflexes and grab the one handed nodes leading up to "Heart of the oak" in the ranger section, since getting chain stunned is the only way im dying. But honestly im not fully satisfied with it, im tempted to go iron reflexes but most importantly also pick up the good old unwavering stance.

Let us know how your experiments with (Phase)Acrobatics turn out
Ok i tested acro+phase and it felt much better than ir.

I removed IR and 3 nodes leading to it and put those 4 points plus 1 into acro+phase, an easy transition.

The fact that I'm dodging almost half of all attacks seems to be more effective than IR and taking all attacks.

I haven't noticed any attacks that, had i taken ir, i would've survived.

Maybe if had invested in ir + more ec + aa + fortify it may be more meaningful, but right now, acro+phase is more safe.

I also removed another frenzy from the tree and picked up another jewel slot, for a total of 3.

i'm not sold on acro really. don't have enough regrets to respec but even if i did i'm still not sure i would go that way. i'm at 30k dps with rt 2 maces (40 rarity unique ones) at 3 frenzy charges. but since adding the abyssus i'm not sure that the 50% reduction would allow me to use blood rage anymore. i'm already having issues with it and i tend to skip it in burning / desecrated ground maps to avoid nasty unexpected situations. since abyssal cry + hoa smashes magic packs in 2 blows even in cold resist maps, i think i'm gonna try to get the soul taker for off hand and also run aa for some more physical mitigation and when i make the switch to crit i'm probably going to add hoi instead of aa to the build for more aoe cold damage.

all in all the build is very versatile at least in weapons choices. u can use swords, sword dagger, mace dagger, mace mace etc. what it lacks in aoe radius it can make up for in survivability. the damage is pretty great so i can just run warlords mark to leech (i don't need dps boost curse - an atziri flask gives me 5k+ extra dps and i usually pop that just for bosses). also, vaal grace over vaal haste any day of the week, even if u can sustain mana vor vaal haste, not worth it in some situations.

more than enough survivability (swap ruby with topaz saphirre as needed for map mods)

Thanks, i would love to see an eva/acro/phase build!
Just got 6 links on:

Gonna try acro and fortify in the ice crfash now :)
Ok, HUGE difference :)

I even survived a freeze box with a rogue in a 73 map....so far so good :) Bino lives Again!
just a thought, would a cyclone also work with this tree and item choices ? i'm thinking the build is already tanky, and it can always reach 5.5k life i think without losing too much dps (abyssus + crit dw cmmon...) so if u use abyssal cry before hitting a ref pack/mob you should be 100% safe. i know cyclone drops some dps so probably for me (still RT) is not ideal but in the end, it could work wonders. cyclone + melee phys + leech + phys to lightning or smth like that + crit dmg ? just a thought. i think with the decrease in mana for cyclone it can be possible to sustain it without 3 elreon items or soul taker, and u DON'T GET STUNNED.

thoughts on this ?
Btw with all the buffs we got running with this build:

Most likely BiS jewel by far for this

(I've yet to see one for sale though)
