If you can get around 35% chaos res and a decent amount of Life Regen (you get about 3-4% from the tree alone), then Desecrated ground doesn't actually hurt you.
I think Zealots Oath is a waste; it makes you must more susceptible to chaos damage, and with the buff to ES recharge delay, you only need to avoid damage for a second. I don't agree with Angry's current tree, I think full hybrid with 3 spectres is the better build, instead of giving up so much survivability for extra spectres. Maybe in softcore it's viable but if I'm going for 100 then I know what build I would run every time. Your guildmate's set up sounds like the dream, but I think this build is much easier to get going and more than strong enough. I just wish there was better access to high level Revenants! Level 71 from Phantasmagoria start to get rekt in 79+, especially vs some of the bosses. Every time I've gotten lucky with 75+ spectres, there's been a server restart not a couple hours later!!! So according to the " leveling " walkthrough section you can't play summoner untill lvl 71 ?

Unless you like resummoning stuff every 5 minutes, you wait until you have at least lvl 17 gems.

I just started leveling a summoner and don't really like Revenants too much so I'd like to know if Flame Sentinels are viable at all.
I'm aware that Revenants are better, but is it possible to clear higher maps at all with decent pace using Flame Sentinels? |

Yup they are fine, their clear speed is comparable to Revenants honestly there's not a whole lot of difference. Links would be Spectre - Echo - Fire Pen - Minon Dmg - Chain or LMP - Slower Proj.

Why Chain or LMP? Which is better for what purpose? And which boots and gloves should I give my guardian? Is there anything specific and if not, what stats should I look for? So far I have Ambu's Charge, Leer Cast and Dying Breath which I've gathered should be equipped on the guardian. Edit: Forgot to ask, what aura setup do you use with Flame Sentinels? You will have to test them out, I don't know which is better.
My guardian just has Dying Breath + Leer cast and the rest are just rares with life + res. |

Which Aura would you use instead of Wrath for Sentinels? And how does this build make use of EE? Just with Fire storm? In that case I'd have to use something else like Ball Lightning with Sentines. |

AngryAA described it like that at end of his guide,if desecrate is lower/higher level of map,no matter what map that is,spectre level will be on level of your Desecrate gem,and level 18 desecrate gives level 75 corpses and level 19-20 gives level 100 corpses if im not mistaken ?
