[2.0] Angryaa's multicurse minion summoner.

Hi everyone!

I am still new to this game and trying this build out. I am currently level 53 and trying to get this build going correctly. I kind of understand what I am doing. But I am not sure what gear I need and sockets, how many links.

In short, what pieces of armor and what not should I be buying? Is it to soon at my level to try and get that armor? Honestly I sort of know what I am doing but not really.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i noticed when i click on the raise spectre Icon, that the 15% increased minion damage from the minion damage gem gets displayed, however not the 49% more minion damage. Instead the intrinsic 10% more minion damage from the raise spectre gem gets displayed.

u guys got the same Problem?

The raise spec gem starts with less spectre damage. So -x + minion damage = raw damage.

well my gem is Level 20 and at that Level it gets +10% more damage. but the +% more damage from the minion damage Support gem does not get displayed.
Nice build started using it a few days ago :) Anyone tried using the Vis Mortis for another spectre + dmg making it 6 spectres? :) And what are the different gem combos you guys use for 5-6 link, and do you change depending on the map? Like LMP for indoors and GMP for outdoors?
What's the reason to choose lightning penetration over slower projectiles?

Generally aim for high Life and ES on gear, and you want to cap out on your resistances.

Too soon to start investing in gear, but if you are dying lots, then you might have to, or just play more carefully.

If you only have a 4l, use Flame Sentinals from Solaris Temple/Map room and link them to Spell Echo + Minion Damage + Lesser Multiple Projectiles. Revenants need a 5 link to work well.

All your damage will be from spectres. So go Flame Sentinals if you have only a 4l, but if you have 5l go revenants, but I highly recommend that you use the Bones of Ullr boots and vis mortis body armor if you can. The sire of shards staff will be your next purchase.

I suggest trying both flame sentinels and revs and see which works better for you. I didn't try flame, because I got staff right after the rev nerf.

Don't forget about double cursing and auras (purity of elements and discipline).

Penetration is always better, since it greatly increases your damage dealt to mobs with high Lightning resist.
At worst, Penetration can be considered a simple MORE multiplier. For every point of Lightning resist the mob has, the gem gets better and better.
You deal 100 damage to a mob with 0% lightning resist. Net damage is 100. Add penetration (let's make it 40%). This means you will do 40% MORE damage.
You deal 100 damage to a mob with 75% lightning resist. Net damage is 25. Add penetration (40%). Your damage has now shifted from 25 (no penetration) to 65 (40% penetration).
That's 160% MORE damage if you use the penetration vs. not using it.
So the question is, does Slower Projectiles give you 40% to 160% MORE damage?

Level 92 in Tempest now. Divined chest, 5linked it - triple curse a possibility. 6linked Staff - Slower Proj added. Recrafted my Moonstone ring - removed life, added %ES.

Possible stupid question, does +% elemental type jewels work with summons that deal the corresponding damage type? Like lightning for revenants? Or should I just stick to %increased minion damage alone?
