What do you mean with "using 1G and 2G" vorici?

Using 1 or 2 Green Socket Vorici Mastre Crafting Options over just spamming chromatics.

so using the guaranteed 1g ends up being cheaper then using 2/3g option to get 3+ green?
if thats the case, thank you for clearing that up :)

Yes it does although keep in mind its still random so you could get lucky or unlucky but best options are listed. Obviously Default is Chromatic spamming as it doesn't require leveling a master but can obviously be inefficient

nice to see a trap build. good guide :)

I'm a trap player to but, the build I made in this patch is not around this new beautiful unique staff.

AOF TRI-CURSE my current gear setup.

Spoiler

stats:
hp:3524

all res: 75

traps

definitely if I was playing on HC I would use some different parts in the gear and running 4 curse (flammability, ele weak, tmp chains and enfeeble) or 3 curse flammability, tmp chain and enfeeble/ele weak depending the map.
What do you suggest for leveling up, til I can use the staff?

You can use firestorm and fire pen self cast or in a trap with cold snap traps. There is a little section in explanations about leveling pre-staff.

Im a number person what type of Damage numbers are we talking about with this build. I debating on this build and one other. CHEERS
overall amount of gear (currency wise) i got while trying to farm a single incantation card in western forest (42-50 and 56-65), tempest league
No rest for the wicked
I've tried the trap build then respeced into self cast with a separate tree. Honestly, the concept of traps is nice but in practicality will never happen. First off, you need at least 4 greens on your staff which is already tough initself to get reasonable trap damage. It is also clunky to use traps, unfortunately. You use 2 traps on average to clear a pack, because mobs always move around even with the cold snap. Waiting for ES to r even is also clunky as you want to always be in combat to maximize efficiency. Self cast with echo and life leech solves all of these problems.

Use this: http://siveran.github.io/calc.html. Whispering Ice has requirements of 59 int, 59 str. (Just to save you looking it up). Put in 6 sockets, and have a look at 4, 5, 6 greens. You'll see that the average chroms needed for each of the different methods (various Vorici's, using them manually etc.) and the "cheapest" method can be different for 4, 5, 6 green sockets.
