Hi , I Love this Build Too Funny To Play ! :D . But For More Funnt I Got Another Tottem For a Triple-Totem ( I got Many Curses ) But Work It ^^ . Im Still Making My Build Lvl 62 , And All Is Easy. A little Hard To Find Good Items , For The Overprice Market . But Lets Wait The Fortune Turn On Me :D , And Get Some Good Drop

It would work, your golem wouldn't live long in higher end maps though :)

Someone can explain me please, why my herald of thunder doesn't even proc? I linked Flammability > Herald of Thunder > Assassin's mark > Curse on hit (Using unique jewel for additional curse), doesn't apply curses on mobs at all. Also picked all critical nodes near witch (annihilation, Arcane potency, Shaman's Dominion.)?

How much dps this build have on lvl 80-85 with not-that-good gear? Sorry, i'm new. I know this is tank build, but I don't understand one thing. People on global chat saying this is build for noobs, op, etc.... NERF IT!!! But when I reading about it, this build have fairly low dps (7-9k), while, for example, shockwave totem have 100-200k. I know there is HUGE difference in gear, but THAT huge? So it's true that shock wave build have 10+x more dps or maybe I shouldn't compare DPSes on different builds?

And 2nd thing. Are this uniques have use on other builds or not? I mean, if I spend a lot of money on gear, it would be nice to use them on other characters.

And last but not least, clearing speed. If u can rate it from 1-10.

Sorry for this nub questions, but I simply don't like level characters that are not very good on end game, so I want to be sure that this build is good enough to level it forever and won't be worse than others.

At level 75, I had 13k dps per totem, so you need to take a look at your gear and improve it. There are plenty of posts about improving gear, take a look through. Also that's just Tooltip DPS. We deal a lot of chaos damage which most mobs aren't as resistant too, plus we have penetration meaning our effective damage is more than that of a normal 13k dps totem, for example. If you'd rather have 200k on your tooltip, feel free to try shockwave instead!

Infernal Mantle is an incredible asset to this build, I recommend getting it at least 5L'd, that will improve your damage a nice amount, I also opted to use two wands instead of a shield. Apep's is not needed but it's helpful. Rare crafted wands will be better with high enough stats (read about that in the OP).

Clearing speed is at a 9-10/10 at lvl 78 maps. Things just melt. If you're not satisfied, watch the OP's video as he requested and you will see for yourself.

The damage in this build is so good I've decided to go MF with it and start leveling another build, because it's so faceroll easy.

Can anybody please explain when it's better to pick cast speed vs spell damage. By looking and witch start nodes it seems 9 cast speed is better than 30% spell dmg. I'm thinking about altering this build a bit by picking up Explosive impact group (55% fire dmg with 4 nodes). Would that be better than 12% cast speed Mental Rapidity provides? Is there a forumula I can use for such calculations?

I'm sorry to ask such a noob question, but the search did not provide any definite answers to this question:

I have the following two wands as examples:


The first one shows more tooltip dps on the flame totem than the second one. From what I could see, increased spell damage does not affect the tooltip damage at all. Is that true? Because that would explain a lot. Not that I am keen on tooltip dps.. just want to know what stats to look out for.
