[2.2 Video Guide] Beginner's Build: Dual Flame Totem, Blood Magic Chieftain [Atziri & HC/SC Viable]

Any thoughts on ascension for this build yet? I think elementalist witch with Liege of Primordial is a must, but what else? Also marauder chieftain should be viable.

I'm not an expert by any means but I've played like, a ton of flame totem characters using this

The kind of equipment I go for when I'm leveling is health, elemental resistances, and armour with a strength or intelligence base type rare items because this build is more of a tankier type so more health and resistances with armour is super nice (resistances cap at 75%, but you can, and pretty much should, overcap them to 135% in normal difficulty, so it's easier to survive in the higher difficulties that penalise the resists)

As for the weapons... in softcore I go double wands until I find a really nice shield that helps with survivability... so I'll end up with a wand that gives %increased spell damage and cast speed and a shield that gives me armor and resistances

For the main base stats (armour, evasion etc) I usually look for armour as it helps taking physical damage spikes that (obviously) my elemental resists don't help with

Regarding other skills you can use the ones he's listed in the guide obviously (as they are for the end game) but while leveling I use lightning warp (like he says in the guide) cast when damage taken (also in the guide) and firestorm in a +1 to gems item (usually one of the double wands)

Eventually I get the Ancestral Bond keystone and use only flame totem (because with that keystone, you no longer deal damage outside of totems with your skills yourself)

I really do like your Templar tree and your item/links. A very easy build to play with, kills everything quickly, and I'm never at risk unless I do something really stupid.

Add onto that the fact I can just go full MF on Dried Lake by switching everything but my chest with MF items and a Heartbreaker, got to get them chaos. Went from a 4 link to my Tabula Rusa by farming The Aqueducts for the Divination cards. It's going to be my go to build when a new league starts up.

Well it's a totally different build, and anyway is it really better, I don't think it's that obvious. You have to take a lot of nodes that the BM version does not need, for mana sustaining, stun avoidance, ZO, etc...

If we sum up all damage modifiers (spell+elemental+fire+proj+totem), you only have +239%. I have +457%. Plus, you can't use clear mind (+60%). Plus you are loosing the +1 gem from Infernal Mantle, which is a "more" 10%. Plus I have +36% cast speed from tree, you only +15%. Does Pain Attunement compensate all this? Not sure.

As for ES/life pool, I'm not sure what quantity of ES you can stack, 7K, 8K? I have 5,4k life + 1k ES, so it's not far. Also I have armor to mitigate. And my totems are *way* stronger than yours (res, life and duration).

Of course you have other defensive possibities, like Auras and AA, that's sure.

It is now significantly tankier, has more jewel sockets and it utilizes the Chieftain ascendancy class.

The skill trees don't work :(

I'm still new to PoE and was looking forward to play this new season, but I'm having a hard time finding a guide because most of the guides have skilltrees that aren't working anymore, even when updated the same day I was looking at it :(

Please fix skill tree, it doesnt work.
