I had a level 19 q13 acd and now a level 13 q0 cd and got a damage increase from about 2k.
For our build, we don´t need crit.

Once more, watching the updated video for 2.1 is never mentioned controlled distruction the set up is ...flame totem ,faster casting ,faster projectiles ,fire penetration, added chaos damage and iron will.

If this is not correct then should not mentioned as updated video for 2.1...and at least be fixed. :)

BOTH date of video and this GUIDE are old :) SIMPLY cause they were both created post 2.1

But he mentions clearly in the start of the video that this is my updated video for 2.1 :) and also the info under the video are clear :

Why do you need a response from Lifting? Why don't you:

1) Test it for yourself.

or

2) Listen to people who tested it for themselves? (hint hint: like the_Arkain mentioned he tested it).

Or you can wait around.

Hey i just wanted to express thanks.
I started playing again after more than a year and i decided to play HC for the first time ever. Looked through the forums and decided to make this build my first run through hc.
Anyway it's awesome,managed to get to ch4 in a day and lvl40 and very happy about it.
It really helps noobs like me:)
Video and guide are awesome, keep up the good stuff.

For ur 2) i think u missed something.. Arkain tested the diference between contolled distruction and added chaos damage gems <<< NOT >>> the Diference between 1 of those and faster projectiles gem , that is in the updated guide.

1) Testing it right now for myself (faster projectiles gem) ..all i wanted by posting this was to help ppl that read this guide to avoid misunderstandings .. so asking liftnerdbro to make it clear .

why using faster projectiles? i find added lightning gives more dmg atleast thats what the tooltip is saying for me but im in progress through cruel right now so im just asking is the scaling later better with faster projectiles?

Faster projectiles may not give you as much tool-tip DPS as added lightning, however it indirectly makes you deal more damage by having a great "aoe" = faster clear speed as it kills stuff from further away before they even get to the totem.
