[2.2 Video Guide] Beginner's Build: Dual Flame Totem, Blood Magic Chieftain [Atziri & HC/SC Viable]

I'm new on PoE, just starting this build playing as Marauder, so what's the weapon class recommended for him? I'm using maces right now since the amount of int isn't enough for wands! Thanks for all your help! Denis |

Just started like week ago and I can say it doesn't matter what u use in the beginning. Used 2h weapons and then moved more def. since playing hc.

At the moment i have about 18k dps with fire golem and herald of thunder up (nothing else).
I tried the void manipulation but the dps dropped. Is there a change or test going on for the 6L or is the old setup good? |

I don't really think that the Herald of Thunder isn't worth it. I lose about 700 hp (13%) and I only gain about 500 dps (7% extra). My totems are liquefying everything before the herald even touches them so I don't see a point.
My current links are: Gloves : Flame Totem - Item Rarity - Culling Strike - (open slot) where Herald of Thunder was (The rest) Wand : Flammability - Increased AOE - Increased Duration Helm : Flame Golem - Life Leech - Minion Life - Minion/Totem Resist Shield: Lightning Warp - Faster Casting - Less Duration Boots: CWDT - Enduring Cry - Increase Duration - Immortal Call Chest : Flame Totem - Controlled Destruction - Fire Penetration - Faster Casting - Faster Projectiles (Replace with Iron Will?) Anything I should change? I'm doing ~9k dps tooltip at level 75 (Level 18 totem). |

Well, this is my equipment at the moment, i can say it's decent by considering it is 4 day on leauge.
I did not know Cast Speed Rolls on Rings etc... effect totem's cast speed also, i thought it is a difference mod for Totem Cast Speed specifically. Thanks for tip. As you can see i am using Energised Jewel and it really adds a lot, i had much more problems before changing passive tree & using jewel before. Along with 3 Nodes, this jewel adds %96 inc armour which is quite a lot and will effect better with more armour gear lately. So i think it's a good exchange afterall. Even without enough resistances on gear i'm already capped thanks to +45 All Resistances from build: poeurl.com/ub6 So my problem is not on gear i think, even with crap-ish gear i dont get bursted down but still have to be carefull most of time. It effects clear speed as well. 10700+ dps atm but even with 12.000+, lack of instant clear speed bothers me. This build might shine after get certain gem levels and item types and etc i guess. Since i'm new to build, want to get ideas about using Staff. If i can manage to craft +1/+2 Gem Staff i think that boost DPS much more than any other combinations with wand and shield. Also i'm surprised Kaom's Heart did not mentioned in guide. So instead of Infernal Mantle which adds almost nothing for defences and gives +1 Gem Levels, 5-6L Staff even Searing Touch (or +3 Gem better if possible) with Kaoms would be better option for both offensive and defensive. Of course that will cost much more than infernal mantle but not something un-achievable. And i would like to know if there is a solution for running 'Players Have EE' map mods easier, maybe there's a trick for this and i just dont know yet? Edit: I typed this like 2 hours ago but did not post and just realised i'm not get used to this build and will never be... It might looks funny & safe etc... but not for me. Not that it matters too much but your Leveling skill tree for the Witch has the link showing Leveling skill tree for Marauders.
