some1 just write that GGG should ban everyone who don't like new globes so forum and chat will become less toxic. So that person is implying that "don;t agree with changes that ggg make to the game = toxic guy". So why don;t reverse it? any1 that is not agreeing with people that don't like new globes is toxic. And GGG mby you will have less problem with players that still post here if you give us some answers? Bex said smth about allowing us to switch UI "in future" and that's all. GGG just ignore large part of game society, GGG jsut deal with it. Or burn forums to the ground.

So GGG still didn´t get that those figures were kinda a iconic symbol to their game and could have been made into something even bigger?

I think you are misreading the situation. They wanted a fresh UI for 2.0

The girls were never an "iconic" symbol. Maybe they were to you, sure. I'm sorry if I give exactly 0 fucks about it.

there was a much wider public outcry when ggg tried to change them first and gave up because of the shitstorm.

them bviously being serious about removing their iconic figures made many players give up argumenting.

about "iconic figures": of course they were because ggg didn't change the ui for a long long time and the interface and some ingame effects is what you see on internet pictures.

No I don't think they were "iconic", not even slightly. Show any gamer who knows of PoE but doesn't play it regularly a picture of the UI in 2.0 and ask them if they see any difference. I'd bet the answer 9/10 is; No.

"Iconic" is having the health red and the mana blue in ARPGs. I think you guys are throwing that word around haphazardly.

Good post. There was nothing 'epic' or 'iconic' of the old UI; most of you crybabies didn't even notice the change until you read a post about it. Horse is dead, drop it already.
