What is your opinion about new globes?

No reason why we shouldn't have the choice. None.

Old globes were fine and new ones also fine. Carry on guys :P
Not a big deal to me either way. If I had to pick, I'd say I prefer the new UI because it takes up less space and is cleaner.

BTW, did you actually get the difference between your stepfather and most critics of the UI yet? Or not?

like to try to incite arguments much? the answer is there is no difference because the opinions and reasoning are different but the end goal is the same, make something out of nothing and apply control. Just like how you slipped that little tidbit in there.

I am confused. The fact that we kind of almost agree on some point of detail means we are the same?

If you want to truly defend your position maybe coming up with and enlightened and thoughtful explanation on your exact beliefs and the reasoning would be better. I have yet to see anything from you but quoting someone and saying "no you are wrong because." What makes you right?

Well, I made a whole thread about it before, and I am pretty sure I linked it in this thread already.

Just replace the word misogyny with blasphemy and it makes a lot more sense. They're on a holy crusade to crush the heathenist behavior that is male sexuality.

So, I am on a holy crusade to crush male sexuality? That is an interesting thing to know. Have you checked Oglaf? You should. It has male sexuality in it, tons of it, and also tons of female sexuality, in basically any combination you may desire. Maybe… I am actually not in a crusade, after all.
Please remove the chained naked women from the UI, thanks GGG!
I was not aware of anything around the globes at any point ever.
I only saw the colors to know when to flask, and the color-fullness of my flasks to know whether or not I should hammer the corresponding key with righteous fury in attempts to leak the contents into the globes to fill them back up.

I still don't even know what is around the globes on the ingame UI.

Upon reading this thread, I realize that my addiction to PoE's gameplay had rendered me blind and oblivious to this extremely important issue.

if you see something yellowish behind your screen, that could actually be your mother who tells you to stop playing endless hours. i would heavily advice to follow her reccommendations just by the circumstances you described.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
We can talk about Misogyny until we're blue in the face, but we shouldn't because it's entirely irrelevant.

This is a video game, which have time and again, been proven that they cannot influence people's behaviour, so arguing that it could cause people to become misogynistic is stupid. Arguing otherwise goes in the face of every credible scientific report ever done on the topic. What's next? A good old fashioned book burning? Shall we destroy all "anti-SJW" literature and art work?

"People might be offended" - Yeah, well, not the people playing the game or else they wouldn't still be playing it. I don't know how many people start playing in a day, but I would wager it isn't many. I think the general opinion is either apathy or they want the old orbs back, based on what I've seen on the forums.
And besides, even if people were offended by it, I could say I'm offended by the new one! You have skulls as trophies on the health bar, heavily scrimshawed and someone's put a lot of effort into attaching that metal to a delicate skull. That offends me! The human body is sacred!
As for the mana bar, that lion can't go anywhere! I hate keeping animals captive! I don't think it's a statue. If the women weren't, then this isn't!

Let's face it, if people are offended by women being chained up, they're going to leave the game as soon as they get to Lunaris Temple level 2.

At the end of the day, the opinions of Herr SJW and the goose stepping offense party doesn't matter at all. All that matters is the opinion of your players and the opinion of your players says we either want it back or don't care.

I completely agree with you, hence the sarcasm in my post [which vio either is a genius of comedy or completely missed]

Especially considering lions are an endangered species now (sadly). So keeping a lion chained up to a mana orb is wrong and racist!
