What is your opinion about new globes?

No reason it should have been changed. It feels like catering to the overly sensitive SJW crowd.

Also, haven't seen a single comment that even comes close to misogynistic unless liking attractive women is misogynistic now.

Edit: Actually, "catering" isn't the right word. A better one would be "yielding", "giving in" or "bowing before the almight SJWs, may their takeover of all media be swift and total."

Just replace the word misogyny with blasphemy and it makes a lot more sense. They're on a holy crusade to crush the heathenist behavior that is male sexuality.

Edit: damn you auto-correct.

I liked the girls, but I don't mind the current one. I'm not playing this game to look at the outer sides of the hud all the time. As long as they don't add flashing or moving (I already hate the + from Quest log update) annoying crap on the hud I'm fine with it

Like some of the previous posters, I don't mind a change (though the old ones were fine), but the new globes are just boring.

I didn't even notice the change until I saw this thread, but now, I can't unsee it :(

Someone on Voat made a patch to restore the girls! Is this legal? I would think so since it gives no gameplay advantage.

Edit: Official GGG response:

As the UI is part of the client files, changing this is a bannable offence.

I was under the impression that anything that modified the client was a no go?

#31 of Rampage League after 7 days played.
i will e mail support when i will be home and ask them about that UI modifier. but i think it should be legal at all, cant find reason why they would want to ban some one for using UI - changer.

I'm quite certain that women going out in public with wearing nothing, or having a square of fabric thrown over their shoulder dangling down their back, actually does violate decency laws.

How about you educate yourself about indecent exposure?

In my province, it is legal for a woman to go out in public topless anywhere it is legal for a man to go topless ( so long as it isn't for commercial reasons ) .

I certainly hope the change wasn't for prudish reasons, and I fully support the ability to swap UI. I was in favor of a change to the UI so long as it improved the UI and didn't just change it to appease those who were offended, or just for the sake of it. I was hoping the updated UI would have come with the animated health and mana globes that were mentioned a long time ago. Sadly, all we got was a sort of line indicator of levels, and a shadow of the potential fill point. There were a few other small things, but nothing as substantial as I'd hoped.

It's not a big deal. The new UI is fine, and I'd like to see more revisions, and more improvements made. I just wish there were fewer 'professionally offended' folks out there.

The nude female form was often used in art throughout history. These days we have modern art galleries with some of the most ridiculous things people are calling art. A broken pencil, a blank canvas, a box of Ritz Crackers. These things are in art galleries as art. Maybe you don't like the nude female form for whatever reason, but at least a well done sculpture or painting can be appreciated for the mastery of the craft.

Sorry, I've started to ramble.

I dont know if you are being serious or not. Graphic design is art, just as any other medium.
