Yes.

And I've only two in right now, Poacher's Aim and a 10% proj 7% life jewel. Haven't found any other ones decent, and I just blew the rest of what I had on gcp'ing my empower to 16%. After that, make some bank, go jewel hunting.

So I need some advice as far as +3 bows go. I am in a situation where I have +2 5L ilvl 65 thicket bow. Do I buy a bunch of regals and try and get +3 on this baby, or save up and buy a +3 bow hoping to some day at least 5L it? I also have an empower gem.

It just seems like it would be cheaper to get +3 on the 5L than buying a +3 (for what 4-6+ exalts?) and spend currency trying to 5 or 6L it. What do you guys think?

Chaos damage
Projectile damage
Damage over time
Resists
MF
Life

+1 is an extremely rare affix. I'ts way more expensive to try craft it than it is to even 6L. Go to the FAQ. If you're interested, I have links there to previous discussions on the matter that get into details on the math. The TL;DR is just buy a +3 bow.

Resists (frees up Purity)
Life (survivability)

Life is low, but resists are capped and I can farm some currency atm.
I could get roughly 5 chaos recipe in an hour, together with the alts / jewellers / fuses and some crappy uniques. All in Dried Lake / Aqueduct / Docks. I have acquired some maps from 68-70 in the mean time.

Hopefully the prices come down, it's frustrating to see them even rise over time.

Glad to see it's starting to pick up for you. Quick note about your flasks, when you get some spare alts: drop a quicksilver, roll a hallowed seething, reroll your divine to a catalysed.
