Nice, man.

That explains the significantly lower +3 bow prices, at least for ones without an open prefix.

I was looking to confirm it myself, since I don't ever trust datamines to be 100% accurate, but seems you beat me to it.

Thanks for sharing =)

Thanks for this build thread. :) It's serving me well so far.
While I don't think I can get anywhere near the center of the atlas with this build, I will farm a nice bit of currency with it until a streamer tells me what to play I decide on a build to go to high maps.

Blade Vortex probably will work.

I'm trying Chieftain Ancestral Warchief - totem taunt is pretty amazing and I'll have 3 of them up. Also you can stack up to 9 endurance charges if need be and the damage is really high.

Bladefall mines is probably good also.

I saw a video of a (the first?) shaper kill with blade vortex.
Poison double dipping still OP confirmed.

Sounds nice. Three fly swatting dudes also has great comedy potential. The most important thing for tackling the center of the atlas will be tankiness I think and this looks like a tanky setup.

Back on topic of caustic clouds, I've been running with this for a while now:

I like it a lot, but since the curse range is somewhat small it does encourage bad decisions. But for lower map farming it has all but completely replaced my CoH vuln./frenzy setup. For higher tier maps I will rely on ranged CoH more, but the flask is still a useful damage increase. Around 11% more damage in my case.

Here's a picture of the curse range:

And I thought I was doing well, and then Serleth gear posts... Admittly there might be red flags if he wasn't this good at the build. :)

Spoiler

I have a decent enough helm to switch too, but that will be after Fairgraves' completes its mission.

Turf, thanks for posting the Essence data and testing, it is a big help!
my next big upgrade is the bow - but it got me thinking,

would u buy a 6L ilvl64+, and then craft it to +3gems and so on, OR,

buy +3gems bow, and then try to 6L it?,

i suppose 6L->+3gems will be cheaper overall, wouldnt it?,

THx for answer.
If LC I wander from where take 60% lightning resistence.
I am using blue items for HD & blood dance shoes with +1 frenzy without resistances.
It will be so hard.

Best Regards

You've probably got a lot of excess mana you're not using - so run Purity of Lightning and be sure to take advantage of the increased maximum lightning resist. Cover any left over deficit with jewels.

Hi
I dont have a lot mana because of using pierce gem instead of it more mana multiplier & less int. Now I'am using mana support gem for aura. Also now I have caped red. If change for LC I need 60% more ligh res. Not only 18% from tree but maybe more jewels? The

I just examined your character - you're currently wearing Kaom's Heart right? Switching from Kaom's to Lightning Coil probably isn't going to do much for you IMO.

Someone on this thread can probably point you at an effective life calculator with which you'd be able to compare Kaom's versus Lightning Coil. I'd make the comparison before investing into LC.

Other factors:
* LC harder to gear for especially if you're intentionally wearing a lot of blues.

* High health from Kaom's helps against all damage types, not just physical.

* High health from Kaom's means that your life regen per second will be higher - a nice benefit.

* In favor of LC is that you'll have up to 6 more sockets available which affords you the ability to run a bunch of quality of life stuff (portal, bone/flesh offering to remove corpses (necrovigil and possibly lock box safety, etc.)

Haha :-)

There are pluses and minuses either way - and I suspect that the effective health is pretty close as well. And those 6 sockets you have with coil are worth quite a bit so LC isn't by any means a bad choice. I went coil myself a few leagues back when I was somewhat following Havoc's Poison Arrow character.

For what it's worth I slightly prefer LC over Kaom's - but if I already had Kaom's I wouldn't switch unless I couldn't stand the loss of sockets.

With LC Havoc went dual curse and used something like:

Ice Shot - Curse on Hit - Vulnerability - Temp Chains - GMP

Ice Shot plus Temp Chains slows mobs to a crawl which makes melee mobs really safe to kill.

This sort of setup just isn't possible with Kaom's.
