I'll drink to that! :-)
Hey, I was wondering what on the skill tree is best to prioritize after switching to CA, around lvl 55+? This would be after having the duelist (dirty tech) and shadow DoT nodes (entropy), but not much else. Seems like one could go for frenzy charges, the piercing shots cluster, or the DoT nodes up right from Shadow start (growth and decay)

I think this will be based on personal preference and what gear you have access too. I tend to go for Growth and Decay -> Frenzy -> Piercing Shots (if you already have a Drillneck this could be switched) -> the last things I pick up are the Jewel Sockets.
Do we not consider using EK for leveling simply because the elemental spells scale better?
Wiki shows that both new cold skills - Frostbolt and Vortex - are available for Scion directly.

For pack clearing, the skills are roughly equivalent, but where EK takes a big hit compared to the other skills is single target damage. That's why we don't use EK for levelling, however, you do still bring up a good point: I haven't levelled with EK since the addition of Controlled Destruction, so it might prove better now.

Player's discretion. I typically go for life first, then damage. If you go for damage, I personally opt for the increased damage on the tree before going for Frenzy charges, typically because I find I don't have the life regen at the time of the switch to worry about Blood Rage.

It all depends how you do it though. If you beeline for all the regen stuff, frenzy charges ends up being a bit more beneficial to prioritize as a damage buff.

It's kind of a "do it as you feel" thing, based on what your preference for leveling is and how squishy you think you are.

Am I delusional or there was movement speed enchantment for boots? Wiki doesn't show that :/
Hey all,

Very excited to play this build in Prophecy. I had a question about Serleth's +3 bow crafting method. Why do we craft Elreon's multi mod twice? It says to craft multi mod before exalting for +1, but then to bench scour all the crafted mods only to multi mod again before getting the resistances. Why not just leave it on there? Bench scour cannot roll attack mods and whatever else you put on there then add the resistances? What am I missing?

Also, what do people think about including an essence drain 3 or 4 link setup to add to single-target damage? I realize we have solid single target already, but since clouds don't stack and we are already scaling projectile/DOT/chaos damage would it make sense to throw that in there for tankier bosses? Just an idea I had, let me know how unnecessary it is :P

Thanks for the wonderful guide and thread Serleth and all!

I'll let Serleth answer that, it is not a method I've ever used.

It is covered in the 'before ascending' spoiler in the Gems and Links section of the guide. As a 3 or 4 link set up it is really powerful, but once you have the second arrow/+2 bow it is not all that necessary. If you can find the links to continue using it to help out with boss damage, continue to do so! For the most part I find the wither totem, and the curse set up to be enough to down bosses quick enough for my tastes.

My method is specifically to get dual resistances crafted on, and the first multimod is the only way you can effectively lock out all the suffix slots (Multi -> No Attack, random suffix) to ensure that your first exalt doesn't land a suffix instead of the +1 all gems.

If you're not interested in doing a dual res craft, you can do it as you described.

Thanks for drawing my attention to that. I've edited Method Three to be explicitly clear now that it's only for dual-res crafting.
