Don't know about you but I'm having fun with CA this league.

I didn't follow this guide and am doing things a bit differently it seems. Hoping I'm not doing something horribly wrong here. Just looking for a bit of advice :)

Yeah that talisman you're running is why I don't suggest running talis for this build. It's solid, and you're getting a nice damage boost but it'll be a pain when trying to res balance for the second andvarius + the rarity is low + it doesn't have life + a version of that talisman that covers everything off would be madly expensive.

You should hit about 4.5k or so if you swapped to a regular rare gold amulet.

I disagree with Blasphemy + Vuln setup simply because there will be bosses where you want to be at range, and your curse won't cover the distance. Hence I discluded that option from this build.

Move Mind Drinker out for Soul Siphon. This build does not leech mana.

Otherwise you're looking solid, but you'll want to invest in jewels that cover off that walk through Written and Blood and up into Atrophy. That's a lot of points invested when you could save yourself efficiency. You would need three jewel additional sockets with double damage rolls to cover off dropping Atrophy, and only two of those would need life rolls + the two scion life points, and you're equal in coverage for point-for-point investment. That last jewel gets life on it, or another damage roll and you're ahead.

It's pretty min-max stuff, but just so you're aware.

If you don't feel like it, you don't need to make that jewel switch but I definitely recommend changing out Mind Drinker > Soul Siphon, and swapping to the Frenzy CoH setup.

Hi i hit a wall doing t14-t15 maps using the build u suggested, i am currently switching to QOTF for ms but i am dying slightly more at higher maps, should i run lightning coil or go back to carcass jack?

i am running a wither totem and it helps i guess, but i am not sure where to go for my upgrade without dropping iiq and iir, my resist is maxed over by 30% for lightning and cold, and break even fore fire resist.

That's your issue right there.

This build isn't meant to do T15s and reliably survive, especially not the bosses, in full MF gear.

At least not until level 95 (and even then the bosses will require gear swaps). By level 95 you should have enough life (4.9-5.1k) to be able to full MF T15s (not including bosses) without dying. As mentioned, the bosses will still require swap gear. Your best bet for that is Lit Coil.

You should be able to do T14s without dying, however. Full MF gear, rippy mods, the works, though you may need ~level 95 to pull it off consistently with the extra life. Personally, I don't have a problem full MFing rippy T14s with 4.5k (as long as I'm playing smart), but it takes a lot of skill and attentiveness.

I see you're level 91, so your best bet is to drop MF for high level maps until you're level 95 to get that extra survivability.

But yeah, point is, you should expect to die occasionally in T14s and T15s in full MF gear.

This guide was not written with the intent of going full bore MF all the way to T15s, more like T12 & T13, max.

Anything T14+, unless you're an exceptional and experienced player, you should be dropping MF for survival gear or expecting to die occasionally. One or the other.

this is because we don't necessarily build for the highest content. It's MF and has it's limitations in the form that we lose out on tankyness and DPS with the suggested setup in the guide.

What you can do is prepare a gearset for higher tier maps, kind of a swap.

Un-equip 1-2 andy's, look for high life / res rings, use proper life/es/ms boots and look at the jewels (where I cover lots of res too) for more dmg / life.

going heavy MF is a tradeoff, and in our setup we trade that high IIR for not being very effective at the highest of maps / nastiest of mods if we don't adjust our gear for them.

A note on DPS that you can up already: Try to get Conc effect into your 6L instead of slower projectiles. If you decide on that route, you would also like to include inc.AoE for clearspeed matters, which makes the bow 3b 1r 2g in the end:



You are looking at some hundreds of chromes for this, using vorici 1b-method. But imo it's worth it even for lower tier maps, shit dies too fast now :)

Found a bino's from merci dominus, which might have helped me a tad. currently have about 250/30 MF with the culling setup, though i'm considering swapping out my chest for something like cherrubims, CJ, hyrris since -6 ms is painful. Jewelry has quite a bit of room for improvement too.

You haven't shown your flasks but dual quicksilvers might help with the MS if you wanted to keep Greeds.
