This is quite funny, I laughed! GGG does anything they want anyway, Standard was doomed from the beginning.

The fact that all mirror gear will be killed off is both super hilarious and hilariously sad. That makes no sense.

This is like christmas at POE. This is the best day ever.

All the #1 resales is doomed. What else will GGG do now?

Introduce a new currency?

Few opinions quickly:

a) Nice to see rare items get more value... Itemization and Loot gets more interesting.

b) the new t1 mods arent only for super-rich-crafters since basically anyone can roll them from rare you loot. The new t1 mods only mean there are more of possible rolls for the stat you desire!

ps. I play temp leagues btw.. huge boost for us imo... perm. league mirror bases got hammered but for me Standard is just a time-sink in between leagues. Need to remember that the old mirrored items arent bad - they are still op.

The game has to advance and the items have to get stronger at some point if GGG wants to make harder and harder end game. You can't bank on an end all be all item games that update don't work that way.. You should totally be aware of this.. Not that it matters to begin with on normal basic leagues anyway... >.>

Finally made my way through all the comments and I really have noticed the people that are upset are the guys capable of doing mirroring services with the weapon they have. In other words I think the only people complaining are the ones trying to sell using RMT, and now that I think about it this is the best change GGG's made in some time. Stamp out RMT for some time. :3

Am i the only one noticing: As well as new top-end mods, we are making adjustments to some existing mods. Some items can also have mods that were previously too high for that item, and some mods have been adjusted.

For example: they can increase the phys% but decrease the attack speed %
