I dont know If I would still compare it to bob marley, in fact I think its insulting to the man. While I may not agree with all his views (specifically religious), he was by no means a murderer or someone who preached for hate. I think Guevara is more of a case of ignorance.

I am not going to wear a Hitler shirt and pretend the idea behind it is solely nationalism, anti-smoking, anti-drug, vegan and animal friendly (actually I sometimes wonder about Peta...).
Himmler would be the more correct choice for solely racial hatred and persecution.

Your post count has certainly been impressive over the last couple of weeks - which is good, any effort to keep things ticking over is worthwhile.

ONTOPIC - We've had the thread derailed and purged by support once already, lets try not to get that done again with a discussion re: First Year University sociology paper reactionary propaganda :)

Things are coming back on track now, anyways. I've made a few posts that I was on the fence about regarding their acceptability under the new guidelines, but they haven't been removed. I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable.

But, I would once again like to suggest to Bex and her hardworking team to continue with the in thread warnings and communication about posts/removals/content etc. That more than anything else will help make this transition more smooth.

In this world i knew not a single man who fought for freedom (or at least said that he does) without personal agenda and i will trust myself over history books.

I am not going to wear a shirt with anyone-else's face and pretend i knew a man. Bob Marley have become a symbol of freedom just like Che Guevara is a symbol of rebellion and apparently Hitler is a symbol of Hitler. But i never knew anyone of them not really looking forward to it.

To stay on topic, i must admit that forums seems to become better day by day with all the overzealous moderation gone and people realizing the fact that they are not going to be banned for the sake of it.
