" I'm pretty sure D3 doesn't use lockstep, but it simplifies game mechanics (no stun, no hit chance, etc.), uses wide open areas with almost no obstacles, and have huge clipping (it hides monsters client-side even if you're in the same room but you got like a pillar between you and them). I'm also pretty sure D3 trusts your client side a bit more than PoE does, because beside your bare inputs everything is happening server side in PoE. IGN : @Morgoth
