Awesome work! All hyped about the release!

Sounds good, nice to have information of whats going on behind the scenes.
Also everyone complaining about new top tier mods... so you want there to never be better gear because of what you have in the game? Nice, lets keep the game from progressing and growing in certain areas because of crybabies. |

You guys are HAPPY?!?!?! With the quest rewards!?....omg if it stays like this then you are FORCED into playing something else to afford getting regular gems like auras/curses that are critical in some builds.
So...lvling up 1 character to get currency before beeing able to make the spec that you wanted to play is fun? This is why I havent been playing much of the beta. Spell echo(etc) is 1ex, other skills cost 1-2 chaos. The gem vendors better be cheap and with decent gems. How are you going to get a good feedback on what people play when they cannot play what they want and are forced into playing something else to start with? |

" weird, the way i see it... the temp leagues are just the beta test leagues. which is why that rampage/plink/etc garbage doesn't make it to the real game. [Removed by Support]

" I get that not having 12 options helps new players make better choices. Past that I am fairly certain one of the unifying options of beta is that the rewards need a lot of work. Frankly, they are way off. I'll see if I can't direct this information to you in a more noticeable way on the beta forums. |

Release at the start of summer break in most countries will be really good for the game.

Stellar communication from the GGG devs yet again.
I came to PoE following a very drawn-out, disappointing and frustrating experience with Diablo III. The way GGG keeps in touch with its community instead of making executives decisions in their ivory towers (the way Blizzard seemed to do with Diablo III) is one of the things I love most about them as a company. Thanks GGG for always being transparent. Looking forward to Act 4, and tbh as long as it comes out as a polished product I don't mind waiting a little longer. It's far worse to play something ad nauseum only for it to be changed after you've already had your fix (is it even possible to play enough PoE though?). Just give us some good leagues and events with some good incentives (the armour sets from the last 1 month were great) to keep us busy in the mean time, won't you? On another note, I'm not sure if it's in the budget, and I've never seen others asking for this, but some cinematics in PoE would be really cool. I feel like there's a decent story in the game somewhere, it just doesn't tell itself very well. I've played steadily since open beta and I still have very little idea what the story's actually all about. A storyline which draws you in is an important aspect of the ARPG greats like Diablo II; PoE is already a masterpiece with respect to the game mechanics. I think a self-evident story will help to draw new players to the game; PoE has a very steep learning curve and many gamers who aren't hardcore ARPG players are dissuaded by the overwhelming information combined with the lack of a story to get you to the point where you're willing to properly learn the game. I think this would be great for the sustainability of the PoE player base and will be nice for vets and noobs alike. Big love. Keep it up. |
