You don't need to change anything. They are shown by default regardless of itemlevel.

Well, how to make them more visible? And with a sound also.

I am not 100% sure but i think your previous version on leather belts and agate amulet they had a red border, its gone now.

In the previous versions they had a unique colored border. That's the "chance item" indicator. If you want that back, simply go to the Chance section (either via Filtration or by searching for "### Chance" in the file) and uncomment the blocks that deal with Agate Amulets and Leather Belts.

You can also add "PlayAlertSound" lines to those blocks if you wish to have a sound played when they drop. You can copy a PlayAlertSound line from anywhere else in the script, just search for it.

Let me know how it goes.

Suggestion: Add the info about what text editor you suggest to use for editing the .filter file in FAQ or somewhere in your first post. I recently formatted my hd to install windows 10, and now i do not remember what program you suggested. Guess I'll have to go through some pages in this thread to find it :)

That said, thank you again for this awesome filter and your willingness to help people wondering about things, both here and when you get pm's :) <3

EDIT: Might it have been this one: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ ?

A little bit ironic, but here we go anyway:

From the FAQ in the first post, first entry:

"

Which editor should I use to edit the file?
I recommend Notepad++ if you want to use an actual editor. For those that prefer a GUI, check out Filtration.

I wanted to ask does the filter makes difference between regal and chaos recipe items (in the colour, borders or something)? If it does not, it should if its doable.

Also you say on your picture "Highlight best available BaseTypes based on ItemLevel", can you explain what exactly does that mean?

TY for great filter!

Yes it indicates them with a different border. See the "picture" section of the first post.

There is a explanation of this at the very bottom of the first post.

In a nutshell it will highlight the best weapons/armors while leveling. If you are in a level 20 zone and a itemlevel 22 weapon drops ( that is a new base weapon type ), it will be highlighted. See the "picture" section on the first post. Just level a bit with it and it will explain itself :D

It doesn't anymore since a while. I removed the picture until I had the time/chance to update it with a proper one.

The issue was that a border for ilvl 60+/75+ items was looking extremely bad for MF players/groups. There was a post about it in this thread where I explained it in detail, but I can't find it right now.

It wasn't worth it considering chaos/regal highlighting is helpful only in a limited span of zone levels (58+59 and 73+74). In all other zones you already know that whatever drops either is or isn't a chaos/regal recipe item.

Combine that with the fact that in the zone levels mentioned above you need to check every item in your inventory again when sorting them, it gets kinda pointless.

However, from ilvl 60+ on low level and unwanted basetypes get dimmed a little (=faded into the background) to indicate that the undimmed ones are the prefered basetypes to use for chaos/regal recipe.

Nice filter, I've been using this for a while. But yesterday I found a soul taker and the filter just treats is as an ordinary unique. No sound, no big letters or anything. Good thing I didn't miss it. I'm sure this is a bug so please fix it.

It's not a bug. Soul Taker is worth less than what it used to be. The list of "couple of ex" items in the filter would be quite long and sometimes even league specific.
